### 2/5 — FFS, stop with the popups

*2026-08-20*

Do I want notifications? No thanks.
But do you want notifications? Still no.
Maybe camera? Nope.
Did you know we can notify you? Piss off.
Want to undo your customizations? Nope.
Look I have other things, love me long time?
But hey, notifications, bro?

Jeebus. Within 45 seconds of writing this it’s popping up about more stuff, I still haven’t managed to enter lunch.

Just. Let. Me. Enter. The. Food. I. Already. Shoved. In. My. Face.

This is a secondary (work) device so I can quickly enter food, I have all the features enabled on my primary device, works great, but ugh.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry repeated setup and promotional prompts got in the way of simply logging lunch on your work device. We understand how frustrating that is. Please email support@mynetdiary.com with your User ID, the secondary device model, and—if you’re willing—a screenshot of one prompt so we can review what appeared there.

### 2/5 — Very generic

*2026-08-12, version 10.30*

You can’t create an honest intake of calories or nutrition if you can’t input your own recipes. If you cook, this app is useless

### 4/5 — Using for one week, good experience

*2026-07-24, version 10.26*

I found the app recommended at the bottom of my iPhone Health app. I don’t have diabetes but I am interested in tracking my food items and calorie intake because I have gained 15 pounds in 3 years from lack of awareness.
This app contains an excellent barcode scanner that provides the nutritional information for almost every product I have scanned so far.
I have noted one error in the food log information: when I input Acorn squash, the food photo shows Butternut squash. I don’t know what nutritional information might vary between the two, but acorn squash’s texture seems to have more fiber than butternut squash. This is very minor but it is an inaccuracy.

### 5/5 — MyNetDiary

*2026-07-01, version 10.21*

I like this app. It is not hard to use. I’m still learning what it has to offer. The scan option for food labels is the best, plus it rates my food choices to show me my best choices.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-06-25, version 10.21*

I really like this app. It has helped me get a better idea of how many calories and carbohydrates I take in per meal.

I had no idea that green beans and popcorn had as many carbs as they do.

So far, I recommend this app.

### 5/5 — My Net Diary

*2026-06-25, version 10.21*

Great app. Keep me on track, especially for my diabetes.

### 5/5 — MyNetDairy Review

*2026-06-25, version 10.21*

This app is the best app for logging and analyzing food consumption. My endocrinologist was amazed at the details I provided her. This app should be provided to all diabetics when first told they have diabetes. Great APP. The reports portion should be allowed in all levels of the app. The app warrants a 5 star rating. After using this app for the past few year, I am still impressed. I noticed today that the app sync to all my devices, making a must for everyone who wants to track their heath.

### 5/5 — Beating Diabetes App

*2026-06-24*

Love this app! I have been using it occasionally for over 10 years. Yes occasionally I start a diet and stop over and over and over. Last week I started “Reversing Diabetes “ by Dr Neal Barnard. This app is making the experience a complete game changer combined with a winning spirit that lets data remind me how great I am doing and the feedback along wit serious results for a winning team spirit. I am committed to 21 day program and I plan to keep doing this to documents my successes and even a failure or two. I keep track of all I eat and consume both foods and supplements. I wish it would allow for insulin doses in Dexcom G7 data to transfer from Apple health too. I want to see carb, fat to insulin graph data. I’m not sure insulin data transfers to Apple though health. I reached out to service and MND got back right away. Great service too!!!! Highly recommend this app. Diabetic 2 since 1999.

### 3/5 — Review and update abbreviation fl oz for liquid. oz for weight.

*2026-06-22, version 10.21*

Keep updating nutrition facts information. Review and update abbreviation fl oz for liquid. oz for weight. Thanks.

### 4/5 — Great for tracking, could have more variety.

*2026-06-19, version 10.21*

I subscribe mostly to track carbs for insulin doses. I love importing recipes and modifying to meet my dietary needs.
I try to follow the low carb diet, it would be great if each week the meals were different.

### 5/5 — Can’t live without this app!!!

*2026-06-17, version 10.20*

I have been using this app for many years. I don’t even know how long.! it is the best tracker I’ve ever seen and it helps me keep myself honest. Since losing weight while using this app, I no longer need diabetes medicine and I actually don’t need to test as my A1c‘s are so low! Thank you my net diary!!

### 5/5 — The App for Diabetes Control and Weight.

*2026-05-23, version 10.15*

After a relapse/set back…I got back to using MyNetDiary. Helps me keep in charge of my weight and blood sugar. Helps me learn what foods affect me and how.

If you need to get serious about controlling carbs, blood sugar and losing weight this is the app...

Combining carb intake and blood sugar tracking has instantly given me the ability to keep my blood sugar in check...get this app to take control before diabetes takes control over you.

### 5/5 — This tracker is great!

*2026-05-17, version 10.15*

I use the free version. It’s great for the basics I need. Food tracking, BG values, weight tracking. The reminders every mealtime to enter my meals is great at helping me stay accountable.

Only downside is the prompt to upgrade to premium just as often. It’s not a huge spend but I’m on a strict budget and don’t need the other features.

### 5/5 — Indispensable

*2026-05-13, version 10.13*

Je l'emploie depuis plusieurs années, cette app m'a guidée dans mes efforts pour atteindre un poids santé et continue à suivre mon alimentation.

### 5/5 — Best diabetic app.

*2026-05-10*

This app a is great for monitoring your diabetes. The exercise and good I take is very accurate. I would recommend this app for everyone who wants to keep a eye on the health. It’s none intrusive.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-05-08, version 10.13*

Easy to use, good information, highly recommend. Have used for 4+ years !

### 5/5 — We need better support for meal suggestions fir diabetics

*2026-05-04, version 10.13*

We need better menus for diabetes especially for breakfast!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Constant Nag

*2026-07-07, version 10.21*

Constant nag is a distraction. I do not want to upgrade and pay a monthly fee. I bought and paid for the diabetes version of the app, I just want to use it without being distracted by constant ads.

### 1/5 — Pregnant weight loss goal?

*2026-05-27, version 10.15*

I’m abandoning right away here bc although it says it has a gestational diabetes option it still forces a weight loss goal while you’re pregnant and there is no way to set it to zero.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2026-05-04, version 10.13*

Not very intuitive. Adding a recipe and chose to add a picture- app took me to settings to allow access, then returned to Dashboard instead of recipe, so all was lost. Come on, already!

### 1/5 — Ok as an Mmol/l record

*2026-03-24*

The only thing that this is useful for is keeping track of my mmol/l ratings.
Every other feature is premium only.
The Social Network is infested with an infinite supply of bots and Toxic Positivity Zombies.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback — we’re really sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t been a positive one.

We aim to offer a helpful set of free features, with additional tools available in Premium for those who want more advanced tracking. We also take community quality seriously and are continuously working to improve the experience and reduce spam.

If you’re open to it, we’d really appreciate any specific examples — it helps us make things better 💚

### 1/5 — No longer searches.

*2026-02-27, version 10.6*

I don’t know what has happened but when started searching foods for dinner, nothing comes up. So irritating.

### 1/5 — Stop

*2026-02-10, version 10.5*

Every time I use the ai coach it just spams pop ups it’s so Annoying like I’m trying to learn how much water I should drink not how much money it is to have the app monthly

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-07-21, version 9.74*

Can’t even register for an account…this app is garbage

### 1/5 — Time to Get a New App

*2025-03-23, version 9.60*

Glitchy app that makes downloading and sharing blood glucose levels nearly impossible.

I've come to hate this app

### 1/5 — Database is flawed

*2025-02-01, version 9.51*

I am comparing to my fitness app and data. Not so good i have no time to correct there by contacting customer support. I work and don’t need another job. This app is dead to me.

### 1/5 — Pay?

*2024-11-26, version 9.42*

Why not say it’s a pay app from the get go? Nope.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Indispensable

*2026-08-22*

Je l'emploie depuis plusieurs années, cette app m'a guidée dans mes efforts pour atteindre un poids santé et continue à suivre mon alimentation.

### 5/5 — Beating Diabetes App

### 5/5 — Still Good App

*2026-08-02, version 10.28*

I purchased pro app when it was $10.00’s of dollars. I think 60.00. Little by little I lost feature like full body measurements. I gained features like diabetic record. Now I am about to purchase the premium app version. More for the diabetic app. Purchased premium app. Do not notice the difference.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2026-07-29, version 10.28*

I have type 2 diabetes. As far as a program to help track my blood sugar, medication doses, and record my food intake, this program has been phenomenal. I never was good at keeping records or doing things on a schedule and the prompts you can set to remind you to take your blood test were much appreciated.

I can't say that much on the exercise part though because I had trouble figuring out my walking speed to input it. So in the end I never use it.

UPDATE: Still love the app and it has been over 10 years

### 5/5 — Not thrilled with changes

*2026-07-23, version 10.26*

First of all, thanks for responding to my first review…I found total carbs on my own!
Was wondering what happened with the app when I went to log everything yesterday. It is no longer as easy to use, IMHO. I still love it for logging meals, and eventually will get used to logging meds, insulin and BG. But definitely not thrilled with it.

### 5/5 — Diabetic friendly

*2026-07-18*

Easy to use gives you good information nutritional value I’ve been using it for years

### 5/5 — Indispensable

*2026-07-16*

Je l'emploie depuis plusieurs années, cette app m'a guidée dans mes efforts pour atteindre un poids santé et continue à suivre mon alimentation.

### 5/5 — One of the best

*2026-07-15, version 10.21*

it’s easy to scan and import foods, and also report them if they’re not correct. There are no ads, the privacy statement is solid and there is no nagging about upgrading or using the AI features if that’s not your preference. You can even turn it off in settings. My blood sugars have been excellent since using this app. Even creating an account is optional, it really seems to have privacy at the forefront.

### 5/5 — Best I've tried and continually expanding.

*2026-07-13*

I've used mynetdiary for a number of years and it has continually improved. Best development was Diabetese Tracker, medication tracking, and blood sugar in particular. Very robust and easy to use. Only wish - better estimate of caloric burn with exercise tracking. Not aware of any other comprehensive app that does it either. Best app of its kind that I've used.

### 5/5 — I reached my goal weight!!

*2026-07-03, version 10.21*

I want to say, I wouldn’t have been able to without MyNetDiary.

Thank you to everyone involved and to those still on their journey, a lesson I learned is “the body will do what the mind believes.”
