## What is Diabetes Updater US?

The Medtronic Diabetes Updater app gives you access to the latest software updates.  
The Updater app enables software updates for your MiniMed™ 700-series pump, giving you access to the latest technology from Medtronic.  
 
The Updater app connects with the MiniMed™ 700-series pumps via Bluetooth* communication. The software update process with Updater app puts you in control, giving you the freedom to update pump software remotely. And it does it all using the same pump you already have on hand. 
 
Prescription, training and other prerequisites may be required before you can access pump software remotely. Consult the local Medtronic website or contact the Medtronic representative to know more about your pump eligibility. A compatible smartphone and internet connection are required. The app is compatible with major smartphone brands and operating systems.  
 
This app will only work with a MiniMed™ 700-series insulin pump systems, which was specifically designed to communicate wirelessly with compatible smartphones. To find a list of compatible devices, please visit your local Medtronic website. The Medtronic Diabetes Updater app will not work with other MiniMed™ or Paradigm™ insulin pumps. To learn more about the Updater app, visit your local Medtronic website.

It will not let me do the next step to do the software update and when you look for help/support it just tells you to keep trying or wait 24hr to try again. And offers no solutions or who to call.

Working with Medtronic for almost 10 years and I’m constantly getting annoyed with their products. Even their suppliers are awful, especially edgepark.

But as far this app….. I can’t even sign in because it can’t connect to the servers.

I got all my scripts turned over to the guardian 4, no real person ever reached out to let me know how to update or answered my social media request for help which is out of character. I remember calling them out for being behind the times a couple years ago and man they had people calling me asap to try to change my mind.

I am in the middle of the auto updater and it just stopped letting me progress through the checklist.

For the love of all that is holy how come you guys cannot figure out mobile apps and Bluetooth. Also you had to buy someone else’s algorithm, can’t even do that yourself. I have been using pumps for 12 years because my doc refuses to use any other pump.

Medtronic works when they have area managers and phone call centers that are well staffed to handle their terrible tech and broken devices.

After being the leading manufacturer of medical devices for so long one would think Medtronic would eventually get it together. Nope. Their apps are junk. All of them. Their wearable tech constantly has recalls for dumb crap. The queues for any kind of support are ridiculous. And at the cost of a used car, for the privilege of using the devices and associated tech? More than frustrating, it’s gross.

It lets me fill out all the forms, then won’t let me create an account. The password box lights up red and I’ve tried just about every password I can think of. Nothing is an acceptable password. Why is something so important for medical purposes so cheaply put together? I’m so done with Medtronic cutting corners at diabetics expense.
