### 2/5 — Do Not Purchase

*2024-08-22, version 1.11*

(Review from NP student) This DDx is greatly lacking in substance and content. Many signs and symptoms are not listed and many differentials are left out.

### 4/5 — first line DDx

*2023-02-25*

Useful as a first line differential Dx. after history taking and physical ex.

### 4/5 — Ddx - good

Nice. It is very good for differential diagnosis.

### 5/5 — Great as quick reference for differential diagnosis

*2022-06-19, version 1.10*

This app is a great tool when you have patients with vague symptoms.I have found it very helpful.

### 5/5 — Great for what it is

*2022-06-16, version 1.10*

I’m a resident who was recommended this app by a colleague. At first i thought it was lame but after a few weeks i actually think it’s a great resource. Yes, you should know a good differential for common stuff cold. Yes, you can find more info elsewhere for workup and broader differentials and diagnostic algorithms. But nothing i’ve found is quite as good for 3 am when your brain is foggy and you have to staff a new patient in 10 minutes and you want to make sure you’ve covered your bases. Even when i have more time i’ll first use my own knowledge and then check this to see if there is anything else that i think is plausible. If you have good clinical background you can go through the differentials quick and rule out etiologies in your head or make a mental asterisk next to ones that may deserve more workup/research. Anyway, i highly recommend it, just don’t expect it to be what it’s not intended to be.

In retirement the access to current literature diminished a rapid access in my e-phone.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Marginal

*2025-11-23, version 1.11*

Pregnancy is listed as a disease. It is not! Poor app!

### 1/5 — Marginal

*2025-06-06, version 1.11*

Lacks in-depth info

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2021-08-07, version 1.10*

Paid for the previous app version many years ago. It said buy once for unlimited access. Well the app was never updated and my subscription disappeared. Now I have to buy a new subscription… very unethical developer.

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2021-03-04, version 1.10*

This app wasn’t helpful for what I needed and now I’m getting billed for services not obtained. Ugh.

### 1/5 — Poor app, can’t believe I paid for it

*2020-10-22, version 1.10*

If you’re in med school just google it, search on up to date, or think for a second. This app has no background info, just a list of ddx and it doesn’t even link to a page with more info. You would end up looking it up anyway.

### 1/5 — Dissatisfied

*2020-01-27, version 1.9*

Not enough access for a app that you pay for. Extremely disappointing.

### 1/5 — This is ridiculous

*2019-09-17, version 1.9*

I literally just but this app a few days ago. I used it the first day after purchase and it worked perfectly but now it is not even working. I am not even sure who to contact. Cos I feel I just got ripped off.

### 1/5 — No upgrade deal

*2018-10-28, version 1.7*

I have been waiting for the upgrade now for a year but I was disappointed to know that you have to buy it again full price with no upgrade price for previous customers.

### 1/5 — Filthy profit

*2018-01-31, version 1.7*

Way to go outbound medicine. Scam people to rebuy your products instead of updating it?

### 1/5 — They make you rebuy it!!

*2018-01-19, version 1.7*

I bought this app years ago which I loved and then they just stopped supporting the old version and it no longer works and they don’t grandfather you into the new one.

I’m thinking of buying the new one but don’t want to support a company that’s just gonna make me buy a new and functionally identical product every few years after they make your old one obsolete.
