But I am assuming because they never update this app, it no longer functions properly. I have missed several business opportunities because I never knew I had a call until I just happened to click on the Dialed app and saw a missed call. This is not cool. Why am I paying a subscription for something that is not working properly? I will give it one to two more weeks and if it does not get fixed, I will be canceling the subscription after I transfer my phone number out to someone else. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR BUSINESS *2024-02-06* I originally loved this app as it had all the features I wanted for my business. Since downloading I’ve had issue after issue of not receiving messages or my messages not sending. For over two months, I haven’t been able to send messages and there has been no resolution. I have asked many times for my port out Pin so I can use the same number with my current cell phone carrier and it has been impossible for someone to respond with that information. I would never recommend this app to anyone as the customer service is lacking and there is no way to contact the company directly. Don’t waste your money on this app like I have. I’m going to delete this after months on both accounts. People too lazy to provide a working app in 2024 do not deserve to have a business. ### 1/5 — So many potentials but fails tenfold *2024-02-02, version 2.12.0* I’ve had the app a year and half, during that time I’ve had 3 times I’ve fought where text won’t send or receive for over a weeks time. Reached out to support to be told it’s a know problem. ### 1/5 — Do not use this app for your business *2024-01-25* I’ve been open almost 2 years in business and have used this app since I opened. I’m lucky if it works half the time! I never receive notifications so I’m responding to clients late and it seems outbound texts NEVER send. I’ve reported this issue to dialed and all they ever say is they’re working on it and to contact Apple if I want a refund. Not to mentioned I paid for a yearly subscription in June of last year and they just charged me for a monthly subscription in January this year. Apple isn’t sure if my yearly subscription can still even be honored. Very disappointed. Had the number disconnected without my knowledge and no longer received called and still no fix. I don’t know how many customers or prospects I lost because of this. It is hard to set up contacts or bring them over from your personal contact list. The final straw was the business registration which does not work and caused me to be unable to receive calls on my number meaning clients have been unable to reach me. I tried for weeks to get assistance from customer service and never got anything more than a form letter email response. Are they just collecting business information and no longer providing a service? Anyway, don’t waste your money. ### 2/5 — Ported out✌️ *2023-11-02* I’ve been using the dialed app now for two years and it’s hit or miss. I am small salon and I’ve been using this as my business line. You cannot send any videos, and the photos are cropped so you better be sure what you want your client to see will fit into an IG size square. Sometimes I or my client would not see responses, just black screens. I did enjoy the auto response feature. I was OK with some of the glitchy features because of the price point for a yearly subscription. However, now that it wants business information registration to let me use the app that is a no go for me. I don’t feel safe giving that information to an app. I really did not want to lose my number and luckily I was able to port it to AT&T. Customer service for dialed is usually through email only and takes several days but they are helpful when you can get a hold of them. **Developer response:** Hi Amiee, With the recent update it looks like you were able to get back into your account and everything is working again. We hope you'll reconsider your review. ### 1/5 — Terrible app and no support *2023-10-10* We downloaded this app and set it up for my business a year ago. The app never functioned well and calls and texts would show up days later or be missed altogether. We stuck with Dialed because support seemed apologetic and we were already set up with Dialed. Last week I found out my client tried to call 3 times and couldn’t call me. My wife and I confirmed I can’t receive or send calls or texts through Dialed. I have a receipt our bill was paid on Sept 30th and the issue started a October 5th. I don’t know if it’s a bug or if they disabled my account. I have tried emailing 7 times since last Thursday (4 business days) and haven’t gotten a single reply. I would NEVER Recommend anyone use this terrible app and company for their business. **Developer response:** Hello Hitchy, It looks like you're on an older version of the app. We just released 2.7 today! Or else you cannot send text messages. And the registration process FAILS TO SUBMIT!! Every single time. ### 2/5 — Inconsistent. *2023-09-14, version 2.10* This is a great app that is actually horrible due to being unreliable. Missed texts, calls. Inaccurate call logs. I use this number for my customers and it’s really difficult when my customers cannot get a hold of me and I cannot get a hold of them. I did the verification process like they said I have still not heard anything back from that in a week and a half and right now I have no way of getting hold of my customers. Not a good customer service on Dialed’s end ### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK *2023-08-22, version 2.10* I initially purchased their annual subscription of $89.99 to text clients about appointments etc (I’m a hairstylist). And suddenly the app stopped working. After reaching out to support it looks like they’re no longer continuing this service and will be getting rid of the app. DO NOT PURCHASE! Anytime I tried to open the product it’s brings me back to the purchase page. It’s not working at all. This is a scam product. I can’t get my refunds or the product I have paid for. Don’t fall for this scam I’m out of $99.99 already. ### 1/5 — Unusable and No Support Number *2024-10-04* It should have been a red light that Ad Hoc Labs doesn’t list a phone number for supporting their telephony App Dialed. Since I have used Burner without issue, I thought I’d try Dialed for my new business. I subscribed, but was never able to signup and actually use the app. Several remain exchanges with “Support” were unproductive and then just stopped. This App and company are not reliable enough to run a business on. ### 1/5 — No Support, Broken and Abandoned *2024-09-04, version 2.12.0* In their own words: Dialed “is in an ‘as is’ state and will no longer have updates moving forward or troubleshooting support.” Do not bother downloading this app, you can not do anything until you pay the subscription. I have requested a refund, we will see if I even get a response. At this point this is just a scam for people to fall for. ### 1/5 — I will have to switch to a different business app unfortunately *2024-06-07* The app was working great and all of a sudden I don’t receive any notifications when clients call, I’ve contact the dialed support with no solution. Very inconvenient. Clients call, I have no knowledge of it unless I check the app and see a missed call. I don’t receive any notifications for text messages either. It has affected me being able to run my business efficiently. Calls drop often while on the phone with clients or when trying to make calls. I don’t understand why this app has failed me for the past few months. ### 1/5 — If you want to lose business, this is the app for you *2024-05-09* We used dialed as our primary customer facing line as a service company. Originally this was great because the owner could carry one phone and dialed promised great functionality like call trees, forwarding, and more. Unfortunately nothing ever worked 100% and eventually dialed quit ringing the phone. All incoming calls would display as missed calls, and only if you close the app and open it again. Do not get this app unless you want to pay $10/month to lose out on business. ### 1/5 — Scam *2024-04-25, version 2.12.0* DO NOT PAY FOR A NEW SUBSCRIPTION TO THIS APP. Here is the message I got when trying to contact support about it not working after paying $99.99 for an annual subscription: Our engineers have let us know that while Dialed will remain in the app store, it is in an "as is: state and will no longer have updates moving forward or troubleshooting support. We strongly recommend porting out your number. It has so many great features and really simple to use. Every was going great for the first month and then all of a sudden my text messages weren’t sending. So I contacted support and they said that this is a known issue and they were working on it. 3 months later I reached out to support again and they were just like “oh yeah this app doesn’t work anymore.” Don’t waste your time or money on this app. Honestly, I’m not sure why it’s still available on the App Store. ### 1/5 — This app to me is difficult *2024-03-13, version 2.12.0* They don’t respond until 10 days letter. 10.00 is coming out my account and not I got find which account because it’s not coming out of my ITunes nor Apple. My initial experience wasn’t great, as the app was not working and wouldn’t even let me login. I reached out to the support team immediately, and within two hours they pushed an update through and fixed whatever “bug” that was causing the challenge. Once I logged in, everything functioned properly, got my number, and now testing. Really hoping this app will be the one, for years to come. Thank you for the thoughtful review! ### 4/5 — Very helpful; shows a lot of promise *2021-11-12, version 1.9.0* Needed a temporary second phone number in a pinch for my business, getting Dialed was much easier than signing up for a new number from a telecom. Already have devices so as soon as the number was picked - boom off to the races sending out texts to coordinate with customers. Threaded inbox makes life easy with voicemail transcription too. Only thing, sometimes messages don’t show up in inbox until either a reply is received or a duplicate message is sent in error. I would also like the ability to save draft messages somehow, so team members can store the default messages (copying message is blocked by phone numbers in messages). It has been helpful for my small business but my main complaint is there have been several times where we’ve sent a text to someone and they never received it. Or they sent us a text and we never received. When I reached out to the company all they said to do was redownload the app. That did not fix the issue. It still happens and I worry because client correspondence is important to me and I don’t want people thinking I am ignoring them. ### 3/5 — Got (Some of) Job Done, Time to Retire *2023-09-21* When I originally got this app, I was excited for for getting to separate my work and home life by having a work number. I also enjoyed that there was a feature to let certain contacts bypass your do not disturb if you set them up that way. Using the app was straightforward. My main issues is that calls would randomly drop and some of my texts wouldn’t send which definitely impacted some of my work projects but I thought with time the app would get better. After 2 months it wasn’t getting better so I started slowly transitioning all my work contacts to my personal phone and slowly detransition from this app. The nail on the coffin was the newest update where you had to register your business. I did try but it was asking for things that a lower level employee wouldn’t know so it is time to retire the app. I think the features of the app was great but weren’t very utilized due to not actually being able to connect with coworkers and clients through calls or text.
