Logs you out unexpectedly. It’s very awkward if the bus arrives and your ticket won’t load. I’ll be changing back to using the TWM Swift card next month as the app is unreliable. ### 3/5 — Diamond buses *2026-03-15, version 4.27* Most drivers are rude and they are late all of the time plus they don’t always pick up passengers at the correct bus stop but will drive off leaving you stranded. Put monthly ticket up too £70 (18.7 % rise) Get rid and get a decent company in. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-09-25, version 4.27* It’s a fact generally acknowledged the a bus timetable is just a ‘rough guide’ but when you offer a tracking app that usually mean it’s accurate. Well I can attest to multiple occasions when busses appear from nowhere meaning they’re missed, disappear and don’t arrive when they show they’re about to which means waiting sometimes more then 40 minutes for ‘the next one’. As someone who depends on the bus service I find this app extremely frustrating and basically useless. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-09-05, version 4.27* I go to John Taylor free school and I was waiting for an hour to get on the right bus. When the bus finally came there was a lot of kids waiting and I was at the back. As a typical high school student I would expect that to happen. When we tried to get on the bus, the driver said we weren’t allowed because there was no room even though there was. Just to specify I left school at 3:12 and we were waiting for at least until 4:00. I was with a gang of kids that got kicked off too. We were very upset, cold and angry. The teachers were calling the station but nobody apparently answered. The teacher had told me to call my mum and ask her to pick me up. By the time I did I was freezing cold and was told to go inside. Luckily my friends were able to get on the bus while I stayed behind to wait for my mum. I finally got home and am very exhausted now. ### 1/5 — Bus company *2024-02-14, version 4.20* Bus company is terrible, always late or does not turn up at. Not a reliable way of transportation. Drivers are usually rude. ### 2/5 — Bus Timing Is Out On Live viewer Map *2024-02-02, version 4.19* The App is easy to use HOWEVER it is not easy to pin point exactly where your bus is on the route map as it ‘jumps’. No good if you’re running on the last minute as you could have missed it when it looks as though it’s still due! Please fix this. ### 1/5 — Terrible unusable app *2024-01-30, version 4.18* The app is extremely buggy, I keep checking on the App Store to see if they made a new one and this is outdated but no this is the most recent app they have. I don’t know about other regions but in greater Manchester there is no way to check bus times or identify stops, and not all diamond busses show up on the app so a lot of the time you will miss a bus you didn’t know was coming. They really need an overhaul of this app, there is nothing I can think to say that is good about it. ### 1/5 — Poor app poor buisness *2024-01-02, version 4.14* App freezes. If freezes when go to get on bus your not allowed on. Tickets are a rip off. Taken the diamond bud regularly for 5+ years by far the worst bus company I’ve encountered in every way possible. The app itself doesn’t show all bus services but it does for some and doesn’t for others. First bus and their app are 1000x better. ### 1/5 — App is crap *2023-11-17, version 4.14* Can’t buy tickets and can’t track buses anymore. Pointless ### 1/5 — Pretty major bugs *2023-11-02* I tried to buy a day pass. Selected Apple Pay, and double clicked to approve. Got an error about my post code not being right or something and it failed. Then I saw my Apple Pay notification saying the £4 went through anyway. Confirmed in bank app. Charge was there, but no ticket in the app. Needed the ticket, so paid again using bank card. Worked. Now two charges to my account. Tried to scan the ticket on the bus, but it kept detecting the NFC reader and Apple Pay kept popping up my cards! The bus driver let me go after multiple tries, and looking at the ticket. Guess he’s seen this before. The NFC is supposed to be disabled while the app is open, but it obviously isn’t. This app cannot be trusted. I’m sure I’ll get my extra £4 back somehow, but why wouldn’t it accept my Apple Pay? I use it everywhere else daily. What’s my post code with the bank got to do with it? The bank approved the payment, and my post code is correct. The scanning is very broken. I will use a machine and a paper ticket if I try this again. Would not recommend this bus company for travel to anyone ### 1/5 — unusable *2026-06-01, version 5.20* Ever since the new update it is super slow and laggy. It takes up to 5 minutes just to load the buses available sometimes not even loading at all leaving me without a choice but to rely on the bus showing up by pure chance.
