### 2/5 — Application

*2026-08-10, version 1.26.0*

Please fix this application. I’m trying to hang in there with hopes it would get better, freeze less, crash less and get faster, but it has been frustrating to use 90% of the time. The subscription is not worth it because a child will encounter so many issues using the app they’ll give up. The data is fun and great, but you have to fix this application.

### 2/5 — Keeps Getting Worse

*2026-06-27, version 1.26.0*

Great product when I first bought it for my son. Now the app crashes every other session or won’t read swings in lessons. Also there has been no new content for almost two years. At this point I might as well get a Blast Motion and save on the subscription.

### 3/5 — Ish…

*2026-05-01, version 1.26.0*

This app gives great data, when it works. 7 times out of 10, it will crash after it pulls the data off the bat. And there is no way to look at “last data collected” or anything. Once you look at it, or the app crashes it’s gone forever. There is no way to back and look at prior data to compare it or anything. We just spent an hour in the cages, I pulled the data, the app crashed, and it’s gone. No information. I don’t understand how there is no option to view old data.

### 3/5 — Good: wish there was more options

*2026-03-27, version 1.26.0*

My son is really enjoying the sensor. I am as well as it helps develop his swing and see where he needs to improve. I wish there was a way to see individual sessions at a later date as opposed to only the overall breakdown. Other than that we like it a lot.

### 2/5 — Not worth it

*2025-08-06, version 1.26.0*

The sensor in my bat didn’t connect to the app

### 2/5 — Bring back old feature

*2025-07-20, version 1.26.0*

Nothing but a bunch of little games and useless things to make your kid want to hit more ever since I got rid of the most helpful tool, which was being able to see your swing path and impact point with the old version this is a tool mainly used just for fun and they took away. What makes it a great tool to be used by advanced baseball players.

### 2/5 — 3D Swing image removed on update

*2025-07-05, version 1.26.0*

The old software, which was free btw, generated a 3D image I could use you visually show hitters how their bat bath went through the zone. The part I used the most has been replaced, and the sensor doesn’t transmit nearly as well since that update. Not happy with what it has become, prior I would have rated 5, now it’s much less effective.

### 5/5 — Lots of fun MLB content and ways to get better!

*2025-06-17, version 1.26.0*

The mix of challenges, games, and lessons built around MLB are a blast.

### 5/5 — Stop reading and start downloading!!!

*2025-06-17, version 1.26.0*

I am a baseball mom who has tried all the things baseball for my boys and this app really lives up to the hype! I’m so glad you didn’t have this when my husband was growing up bc he said he would’ve been in the MLB and we may have never met! Do your kids a favor and download now!

### 5/5 — Functional & Fun

*2025-06-17, version 1.26.0*

The DK app has been updated with games and instructional lessons that both my daughter and I have been using. Home run derby and Swngmatch have been a big hit with the kids and it’s been cool to watch videos and learn drills that the big leaguers do.

### 5/5 — Great App!!

*2025-06-17, version 1.26.0*

I’ve had the DK app/sensor for 2 years now and absolutely love what it offers. My favorite part of the app are the challenges, they allow me to get my swings in while also having fun competing against other users. Also, the Customer Support team is a 10/10!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-26, version 1.26.0*

Based on my experience, nothing good has come from this app. It takes at least 30 minutes to connect the bat sensor to the phone every single time you want to use it! The app is extremely slow and glitchy. Once I finally get the sensor to connect, the app will either completely crash, the sensor randomly disconnects losing all swings you just took, or it just won’t read and swings at all and constantly stuck on a loading screen. When the app crashes, you have to close the app and open it again which disconnects the sensor forcing you to take at least another 30 minutes. The technology in the sensor and app just doesn’t seem strong or stable.

### 1/5 — New firmware

*2026-02-11, version 1.26.0*

Very frustrating that I can’t update the size of the bat. It stays with the new firmware I need to reset Bluetooth. I reset it and it kicks me out. So whack.

### 1/5 — Not good quality

*2025-12-31, version 1.26.0*

First things first horable quality to be complete honest it’s way to tight for it to put on the end of your bat I just got it for a Christmas gift had it for 1 hour and the rubber Alr ripped like I can’t spend this much money for it to rip totally waste

### 1/5 — un happy

*2025-05-11, version 1.25.2*

im going to return and find a different app and tool this whole experience has been to un user friendly and a joke ill find something else to improve swings

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2025-02-28, version 1.23.1*

The older version was so much better. So difficult to just hit now and view the metrics with this version. This basically turned into a video game instead of away to look at metrics to help your swing.

### 1/5 — Not useful

*2025-02-13, version 1.23.1*

The old app tracked useful metrics and gave great feedback. The new app has lost a lot of functionality and options from a coaching/feedback standpoint.

I have cancelled my membership and would not recommend this product / app at the current time based on the limited value it now provides.

### 1/5 — Will not connect

*2025-01-30, version 1.23.1*

My son has had this product for approximately 2 years. He uses it off and on. Since the new app we cannot get the sensor to pair with any phone in our house. We have tried 5 different phones. We have charged and charged. Then we wake it up and nothing. Just the blinking green light. I now have a hundred dollar paper weight on my nightstand.

### 1/5 — Why??? Please support the original app and functionality

*2025-01-10, version 1.23.1*

As a coach, the original Swing Tracker app was fantastic. It allowed me to focus on certain aspects of a player’s swing in a one on one setting with real time feedback. I understand the purpose of the DK+ app for kids and the instruction they can get on their own. However, as a coach it is pretty much unusable as an instructional tool, and I am very disappointed in the limited functionality it provides (compared to the original app). I dont need a “video game”, I need a functional tool that lets me coach my team. I will be finding an alternative when my subscription expires.

### 1/5 — Got scammed

*2025-01-03, version 1.23.1*

So when I got the Diamond kinetics bat sensor I paid for 3 month subscription. I can’t even show that I have the membership. Then it said it would measure exit velocity but no where there. So I returned it and I’m deleting the app. Thank you for listening.

### 1/5 — Inaccurate and trash 😭

*2024-12-04, version 1.23.1*

I wish this would work out but it didn’t i first got it happy ash and i put it on my bat after charging it goto the app connect it and its already glitching 5 seconds in saying i need to restart bluetooth i do and it still asks and doesnt work. I click just play anyway and im taking swings with it and i see how innacurate it is i can hit an absolute piss missle to outfield and it’ll say it’s 88 feet 😭😭 don’t get this only get it if you like wasting your money I can only give this a 1 star because it doesn’t allow me to give 0 💀

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Kids 🤝 MLB

*2025-07-11, version 1.26.0*

Great way to stay connected to the MLB with highlights updated daily and hitting lessons from current MLB players

### 5/5 — Great Motivator

*2025-06-23, version 1.26.0*

This app motivates the kids to swing the bat with challenges and leaderboards... always giving away prizes and it has a pretty cool set of lessons you can take with MLB players.

The app uses the phone camera or DK sensor to detect swings, so you can get block by block instruction from the players. It also has a section of beginner lesons from MLB Play Ball, which I appreciated as a parent with young ones. Seems like the DK+ lessons get a bit more advanced.

The sensor price is pretty reasonable and unlocks even more games and lessons.

### 5/5 — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect for Kids – Fun and Skill-Building!

*2025-06-23, version 1.26.0*

The Diamond Kinetics app is absolutely perfect for younger players.
It turns training into a game with fun activities, challenges, and interactive features that keep kids engaged. My child loves using it—not only is it fun, but it’s also helping improve their skills without it feeling like a chore.

My son loves the swing match

### 5/5 — Virtual Home Run Derby

*2025-06-21, version 1.26.0*

My son and his friends love trying to see how far they can hit in the virtual home run derby game in the app

### 5/5 — A great way to follow MLB

*2025-06-20, version 1.26.0*

There are weekly challenges based on hits and footage from recent MLB games. It’s a fun way to “watch” baseball and gives my son reasons to keep coming back.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2025-06-19, version 1.26.0*

Love getting to train alongside MLB players like Jarred Kelenic and Lawrence Butler!

### 5/5 — A fun way for kids to train

*2025-06-19, version 1.26.0*

DK makes it fun for my kids to practice their hitting, and also provides great feedback even without myself or a coach alongside them. They love competing in the challenges and going through the guided sessions that help them climb the challenge leaderboards!

### 5/5 — Challenges Are Awesome!

*2025-06-19, version 1.26.0*

Rewarding real life swings with real life prizes is an awesome concept. My son is really happy with the DK App!

### 5/5 — My kids love it

*2025-06-18, version 1.26.0*

I set up a net and a tee and sent my kids outside with the sensor and the app. Now they ask to out and play!

### 5/5 — Got my son excited to practice!

*2025-06-18, version 1.26.0*

It’s sometimes tough to convince my son to get a few swing reps in throughout the week, but the SwingTracker and app have made that job at least a little easier! He’s been enjoying the MLB home run highlights that the app shows and then heads to the tee to try and recreate with the Home Run derby game. He’s checked out a few of the lessons as well, they’re pretty solid and are a good fill in between team practices. Anything that gets my son in the mood to practice is a win in my book!
