## What is DiaPocket?

DiaPocket is a digital logbook and assistant for people with type 1 diabetes.

The app helps you record, visualize, and prepare all relevant diabetes data in one place—especially for medical appointments.
Why a diabetes logbook?

Living with type 1 diabetes means making hundreds of decisions every single day:
How much insulin? When to eat? How does my body react to exercise?

A structured logbook is key to recognizing patterns, adjusting therapy, and achieving better long-term glucose control.
Instead of endless notes, spreadsheets, or multiple apps, DiaPocket provides a single, clear and organized platform for all your diabetes documentation.

CORE FEATURES OF THE LOGBOOK

Blood Glucose Tracking:
Record glucose values (20–600 mg/dL)
Mark trends (rising, falling, stable)
Note data source (manual entry, CGM system)
Visualize glucose curves across days and weeks
Insulin Logging
Document bolus insulin (NovoRapid, Fiasp, Lyumjev)
Track basal insulin (Lantus, Tresiba, Toujeo)
Note injection sites (abdomen, thigh, arm)
Track when and how much insulin you administered

Meals & Carbohydrates
Log carbohydrate amounts in grams
Note fat and protein content for delayed glucose rises
Add meal photos (optional, stored locally)
Describe meals for later evaluation

Lifestyle & Activities
Record exercise and physical activity (type, duration, intensity)
Document stress levels and illness
Log special events (alcohol, menstrual cycle)
Understand how daily life affects your glucose levels

Timeline View
Clear 24-hour timeline of your day
All events at a glance: glucose, insulin, meals, exercise
Color-coded markers for quick orientation
Detail view with extended information

FREE AND AD-FREE
DiaPocket is—and will remain—completely free:

BY THE COMMUNITY, FOR THE COMMUNITY
DiaPocket was created by people with type 1 diabetes for people with type 1 diabetes.
We know the daily challenges firsthand:
• Fear of nighttime hypos
• Frustration over unexplained glucose swings
• Overwhelm when dosing insulin after high-fat meals
That’s why we built an app that truly helps—without unnecessary complexity, hidden costs, or ads.

DATA PRIVACY & SECURITY
Your data belongs to you—everything is stored locally on your device only.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
DiaPocket is NOT a medical device and does not replace medical advice.
The app is a digital notebook for documenting your diabetes data.
All therapeutic decisions regarding insulin dosing, nutrition, or treatment adjustments are made solely by you—ideally in consultation with your healthcare professional.
