## What is DiaWolf?

DiaWolf is a guilt-free fitness tracker: real workout tracking with a neurodivergent-friendly approach, encouragement instead of streak-shaming, and light gamification that never feels like homework.

DiaWolf is free to download and use. Upgrade to DiaWolf Pro for:
- Unlimited workout history (free: last 30 workouts)
- Trends: multi-metric charts, HR zone breakdown, glucose delta tracking
- GPS route replay with glucose overlay
- Replay video export and sharing with up to 10 photos in 3 screen dimensions of square, vertical, and landscape (no glucose or speed overlay)
- Personal record tracking history, e1RM trends, custom exercise creation
- All 3 color themes (free: Balanced)
- Extended glucose history and full Health Report PDFs (14/30/60/90-day windows, unlimited generation)

14-day free trial included on monthly and annual plans.

Track running, walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, treadmill sessions, resistance and weight training, and more, with:
- Heart rate (HR) and HR Zone (HRZ)
- Estimated kcal burned, averages and maxes
- Steps, pace/speed, distance
- GPS plotting for outdoor cycling, running, hiking, water, and snow sports, with a replay feature to view and share
- Bicycle speed/cadence sensor support (Wahoo, Garmin) and wheel-size profile storage
- Resistance and weight training: sets and reps recording, adjustable one button timer for between set rest
- Add your own activity if it's not listed
- Automatic iCloud backup, so your history survives a phone upgrade

If you're diabetic and use a CGM, DiaWolf adds glucose data right alongside your workout, so you're not flipping between two apps mid-session. Works with any CGM that shares data to Apple Health, and always shows you exactly how current each reading is, no guessing. This also applies to glucometer readings shared to Apple Health:
- Glucose display and history, with trend graph and freshness at a glance
- Recommended exercise specific glucose target ranges
- Low and rapid-drop alerts, honest about how current the underlying reading actually is
- eA1c using clinically accepted CGM-based GMI across 14- to 90-day spans
- Glucose change tracked during and up to 2 hours after every workout, the window that matters most for delayed post exercise lows
- Live Activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island: your latest glucose readout timer, visible without opening the app
- Shareable PDF reports: glucose patterns, time in range, training load, and personal records, ready to hand to a coach or health care team

Envisioned and born from one ride too many spent switching back and forth between a CGM app and a fitness app, by someone who actually lives with T1D. Built to work well with or without that challenge.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-02

Redesigned the in-workout Lap and Map controls for easier one-handed use while moving: Lap, Map, and Show/Hide Chart are now always within reach, no scrolling needed, and the full-screen GPS map is a swipe away.

Also in this release:
 - Fixed the live GPS map losing track of your position mid-ride.
 - Minor background-sync reliability fix for iCloud.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-16

Route Privacy: hide the exact start and end of a workout on anything you share, replay videos and PDF reports. Set a global distance in Settings, or override it per share. Your own maps in the app always show the full route.

Share your glucose response: a new opt-in toggle can add your glucose change to a shared replay video's stats card. Off by default and per-video, your glucose never leaves the app
unless you choose it.

Also in this release:

- Glucose change now displays correctly in mmol/L everywhere (workout detail, History, PDF reports), it was showing the mg/dL number with an mmol/L label.
- Cleaner, more readable glucose chart in the workout PDF report.
- More accurate estimated A1C / GMI (it had been undercounting readings).
- GPS can now be turned off per custom activity.
- Open a shared .dwbike bike profile straight from Files or Mail.
- Landscape layout fixes on the Home and Settings tabs.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-02

- Fixed typos and added more detail to description metadata
- Fixed step counts not updating during Watch-paired treadmill workouts.
- Fixed wrist-raise sometimes showing the wrong Watch screen mid-workout.
- Clearer heart rate zone names ("Recovery" → "Easy," "Peak" → "Max").
- Fixed a rare stuck Lock Screen timer after force-quitting mid-workout.
- Smoother Lock Screen and Dynamic Island updates during workouts.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-01
