## What is Dice by PCalc?

Dice by PCalc, is a physics-based simulation of polyhedral dice for use in tabletop role-playing games with dungeons and/or dragons.

Featuring near-photorealistic 3D graphics, it comes with a variety of gorgeous dice sets. Throw multiple dice with advantage or disadvantage, and any given modifier, and the app will automatically calculate the correct total.

You can save named presets to quickly roll the attack of your favorite sword, or figure out exactly how much damage your bard took from those seventeen giant rats. Flick dice to fire them across the screen when the numbers don’t go your way.

Create custom dice with any text or emoji on the faces, or import your own images, and easily share your dice with friends.

Supports split screen and slide-over on the iPad, so you can put it alongside your other RPG apps, and speech synthesis that can read out the list of dice and the results. Also comes with a companion Apple Watch app, so you'll never be without a D20 again. Even supports AR!

### 5/5 — Extra, good

*2025-12-30, version 2.9*

The only 255 MB download on the App Store that is actually worth it.

### 5/5 — Very nice, fun dice app. The physics engine is impressive.

*2025-12-29, version 2.9*

I'm having a lot of fun using this as a virtual fidget. I created a die to help us choose from the local restaurants when we go to lunch. My one ask would be to allow me to control which options are available from the dice list on the left side.

### 5/5 — Dev Rocks

*2025-11-26, version 2.8.2*

PCalc is the best calculator and Dice by PCalc is the best random number generator. Thanks Dev you're awesome!

### 5/5 — It's the best app on iPad

*2025-11-12, version 2.8.2*

If you ranked them all it’s simply at the top

### 5/5 — Delightful Dice

*2025-11-09, version 2.8.1*

I adore this app. Even if it’s just your backup dice— it’s pretty fun!

### 5/5 — The best Dice roller - by the author of PCalc

*2025-04-21, version 2.8.1*

If you care about the dice you roll (and if you know what 3d6 vs. d20 is, you know you do), this is the program to roll them. The dice. They sound like dice. They look like dice. You can style them in a hundred different ways. You can shake your iDevice and the dice will fly into the air in little parabolic arcs before bouncing down and off the edges and surfaces and each other, in a spectacular display of physics. Come for the random numbers, enjoy the show!

Seriously - the ridiculously overdone care with which this app is made reminds one of a time when the majority of mac apps were made with such craftsmanship. Get it.

### 3/5 — Still not working on Apple Watch

*2025-03-27, version 2.8*

This app used to work on my Apple Watch and hasn’t in a long time. I was hoping this update would fix it but it still just crashes. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2.

### 5/5 — Beautiful

*2024-06-29, version 2.7.2*

Simple, easy, surprising depth and complexity. A combination reminiscent of Graphing Calculator.

### 5/5 — Great dice app with lots of customizability

*2024-06-23*

It's a great dice app, good graphics with amazing capabilities, the Watch support is fantastic, Siri integration is cool, but the customizability is really what sets it apart. Loving the recent update with the new pride themes, I'm very happy to have the Rowan/NB tint available.

### 5/5 — Как сделать минус?
