### 1/5 — pas à jour

*2026-07-02*

### 5/5 — A++

*2026-06-02*

Props to the developers. This is one of the coolest games I've played maybe ever. I finally got through it to the end (took some effort for sure) and there was no disappointment.

So much creativity in the way each character has their own, gimmick for lack of another term. Fun story line. Sufficiently challenging. Great art work and concept.

Thanks devs. Would LOVE to see a multiplayer version. Combat or co-op.

### 1/5 — Game charged me too much and sound doesn’t work

*2026-03-21*

I think this is a knock off not the real thing

### 5/5 — Muy divertido

*2025-11-17, version 2.1.5*

### 2/5 — 2025 And We’re Still Landscape?

*2025-09-29, version 2.1.5*

Obviously we all know the game is great but we need a vertical option and it seems like this would be possible for this game.

It’s a one handed game and not much going on makes no sense to be landscape considering the simplistic layout.

### 2/5 — Starts fun, gets boring

*2025-08-13, version 2.1.5*

There is no real feeling of progression. You do not get more skills or better stats, just different challenges. Heavily luck based.

### 2/5 — Fun until the game decides you’re not allowed to win

*2025-07-27*

Started off loving Dicey Dungeons — clever dice mechanics, cool equipment combos, great pick-up-and-play feel. Then the game pulled a “surprise, you lose!” moment where a boss can only be killed with one random item… that the game might never give you.

Imagine building a perfect run, playing smart, and then getting hard-stopped because you didn’t bring a wooden stake to a vampire fight you didn’t know was coming. It’s not “challenging,” it’s just dumb. If you enjoy roguelikes that reward skill and planning, be warned: sometimes this one punishes you unfairly and wastes your time with a gimmick.

### 2/5 — Aesthetically nice. Mechanically? It’s hot garbage.

*2025-07-25*

TLDR; Shallow writing, amazing chiptune / big band fusion soundtrack, horrible gameplay.

Most roguelites are innately built upon luck and typically give you tools to manipulate the odds in your favour. Not this game.
This game is hell-bent on wasting your time. After about 20 hours of gameplay, both on mobile and steam, with a cumulative 10-12 or so chapters completed between the two, I have yet to unlock any significant new content save for a single unlockable character. I tried the special episodes, which were fresh for about maybe 1-2 hours a piece. You might be thinking: “20 hours of content for 6.99 sounds pretty good though!” The thing is, a lot of that time was just spent in frustration with the bad shop mechanics, tedious combat, and unfair loot generation systems. A lot of the challenge and primary gameplay loop stems from RNG (random number generation) with very little you can actually do to change the outcome of your playthrough other than save scumming. This is even worse with some of the more sadistic character challenges. The game will often place you into a seeded run where you are destined to lose, no matter how vigilant you are about your build or how carefully you play. Maybe there’s one neckbeard out there who has mastered this game and never loses runs even on the hardest challenges, but I can’t subject myself to playing this game any further. I honestly can’t tell if there’s any run safeguards in place other than the fixed levelup rewards for some classes, because I have practically never felt powerful or broken in this game once save for one single run on wizard. Roguelikes are supposed to test your mettle via learning the mechanics, and utilizing them to your advantage, becoming as powerful as possible within your means. This means that some runs will be better than others inherently, but the leveling mechanics are so shallow and the combat is so vapid and empty that every run is practically indistinguishable from the last. Clearing the standard run (first challenge) for every character is easy, so you go to the challenges and then will be subjected to the most inane balancing and tedium you may ever experience in a video game. The art style looks fine, the writing and thematic elements (or what little there is of them) are mediocre and the game doesn’t really have much to say about anything, which is besides the point as that is clearly not the focus of the game. I’ll also concede the music absolutely SLAPS. Buy the soundtrack (if thats a seperate thing) on steam or bandcamp or wherever. But don’t spend money on this product if you want a game that rewards your time, or respects you as a player. This game just doesn’t. I’d rather “dice” my hands in a blender than play this mess again.
