## What is Dicey?

Dicey: Real Dice Cup brings real dice to your phone — with physics you can actually feel, and a cup that plays music.

Shake your phone to roll. Touch and hold to swirl a tornado. Drag and launch like a slingshot. Every throw feels different because it's powered by a real-time physics engine, not random numbers.

REALISTIC PHYSICS
Each die tumbles, bounces, and settles with true-to-life weight and friction. No two rolls are ever the same. Tilt your phone and dice roll naturally with gravity.

MUSIC CUP
Switch to the octagonal Music Cup, where each wall plays a different note. Drag and release dice toward the walls to build melodies — driven entirely by physics, not pre-recorded tracks. A growing set of classic tunes plays automatically, turning a dice cup into a tiny music box.

HAPTIC FEEDBACK
Feel every collision through your fingertips. Wall hits, dice-on-dice impacts, and floor bounces each have their own distinct vibration — tuned to match the force of impact.

MULTIPLE DICE & SKINS
Mix and match D6 / D8 / D12 / D20 dice with premium materials. Chrome steel, translucent crystal, classic pips — build your perfect set. Each cup remembers its own loadout.

THREE WAYS TO ROLL
- Shake: Tilt and shake your phone naturally
- Tornado: Touch and hold to create a swirling vortex
- Slingshot: Drag and release for a precisely aimed launch

INSTANT RESULTS
Live total updates as dice settle. See each value and the sum at a glance.

Perfect for board games, tabletop RPGs, party games, music play, or whenever you need a quick decision.

### 1.1 — 2026-06-01

What's new in v1.1:

NEW: Music Cup mode
Switch to an octagonal cup where each wall plays a different note from a full diatonic scale (C4 to C5). Drag dice toward walls to play melodies — every note is driven by real physics, not pre-recorded sequences.

NEW: Sharpening (#) mode
In Music Cup, touch a bottom screen corner to shift adjacent wall notes up a semitone, enabling melodies that require accidentals.

NEW: Auto-melody easter egg
Press screen corners in sequence (top-left → bottom-left → bottom-right → top-left, within 1.5s per corner) to trigger an automatic Für Elise demo.

NEW: Per-cup loadout
Each cup mode now remembers its own dice configuration. Switch between Classic and Music cups without losing your setup.

IMPROVED: Slingshot precision in Music Cup
Horizontal-only launches with gravity compensation, so you can precisely aim dice at specific walls.

IMPROVED: Physics realism
Drift-flow self-spin gives dice more natural tumbling behavior for better random outcomes.

FIXED: Sharpening mode could get stuck when the menu button overlapped the # input zone.
