## What is Dict А?

Russian explanatory dictionary 

Сборник русских словарей: орфографический, синонимов, толковый, этимологический, иностранных слов. 

При составлении были использованы следующие источники:
- Орфографический словарь русского языка (158 103 слов), обозначены ударения.
- Словарь синонимов (19 107 слов).
- Новый толково-словообразовательный словарь русского языка под ред. Ефремовой (123 999 слов).
- Толковый словарь русского языка. С.И. Ожегов, Н.Ю. Шведова. (41 118 слов).
- Толковый словарь живого великорусского языка Даля (43 460 слов).
- Толковый словарь русского языка под редакцией Д.Н. Ушакова (88 279 слов).
- Этимологический словарь Фасмера (17 256 слов).
- Словарь иностранных (заимствованных) слов и латинских выражений (16 627 слов)

Для работы программы не требуется подключение к интернету. Все словари доступны сразу после установки приложения. 

Программа оптимизирована для iOS 6 и 5, имеется поддержка многоядерных процессоров (быстрый поиск). 

Важное замечание:
Так как количество статей в используемых словарных источниках разное (от 16 до 158 тысяч слов), то возможны слова с короткими словарными статьями, содержащие в себе только орфографическое написание.

- История запросов с сортировкой по частоте и времени (сортировка по частоте позволит Вам отслеживать наиболее проблемные понятия и лучше их изучить)

Поддержка жестов: 
- проведите пальцем вправо для перехода на предыдущую статью 
- проведите пальцем влево для перехода на следующую статью 
- сдвиньте или раздвиньте пальцы на тексте статьи, чтобы изменить размер шрифта

English:  this is a GREAT app that has some of the best Russian-Russian dictionaries. The convenience of being able to look up a word on the go and have synonyms, stress, and the definition of the word in multiple dictionaries cannot be overstated... This really gave my Russian a boost: you learn by trying to read the entries (no training wheels here). It's still working great under iOS 9.

В этом приложении есть лучшие словари русского языка. Подробные описания слов очень полезны для того, чтобы узнать, что именно значит данное слово в русском языке - ибо простые переводы с русского на английский многое пропускают, хотя в начале студенту трудно обходится без перевода.

Я даже начал использовать это приложение вместо Abby Lingvo. Спасибо автору!!
