## What is Dictation & Notes?

Vermerk transcribes your dictation, summarizes it and pulls out the tasks – entirely on your iPhone. No account, no cloud, no upload. What you say never leaves the device.

Built for people who work with confidential material: medicine, law, tax, therapy, expert assessment, journalism. For everyone for whom "in the cloud" is not an option.

Three steps

Record. Speak as if you were explaining the matter to a colleague. Vermerk transcribes live.

Organize. When you stop, Vermerk produces a title, a summary, the key points and a task list. Automatically, on device, in seconds.

Keep. Check off tasks, search your notes, listen back, share as PDF or text.

Everything on device

Speech recognition and summaries run with Apple's models directly on your iPhone. There is no Vermerk server, no login and no analysis of your content. The only outside connection is the one-time download of the speech model by iOS. After that, Vermerk works in airplane mode.

Set up for your field

Choose your profession, and Vermerk pays attention to what matters in your day: findings and medication. Deadlines and case numbers. Amounts and periods. Sources and quotes.

Also included

Lock with Face ID or Touch ID, for phones that sometimes sit on a desk
Recording continues with the iPhone in your pocket
Live transcript while you dictate
Search across titles, summaries, tasks and the full transcript
Keep the audio or just the text – your call
Export as PDF and as text
German, English, French, Italian, Spanish

Vermerk Pro

Your first three notes are free. Vermerk Pro unlocks unlimited notes and export: $24.99 per month or $199 per year, each with a seven-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled in iOS Settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Your notes stay on the device even without a subscription.

Please note

Vermerk is a writing tool. Summaries and tasks are generated automatically and can contain errors. Review them before relying on them. Vermerk does not replace professional judgment or your own documentation duties.

Summaries require iOS 26 and an iPhone with Apple Intelligence. On other devices the transcript is saved but not organized.
