Fast alle Wörter, auf die ich bei meiner Englisch-Lektüre gestoßen sind, fehlen bei PONS; bspw. „pry bar“ (=Stemmeisen), „to field dress“ (= erlegtes Wild ausweiden), „sweat lodge“ (= Schwitzhütte). Zur Suchfunktion: Wenn ich beispielsweise die Phrase „Best regards“ in einem gedruckten Buch nachsehen will, ist klar, dass ich unter „regards“ suchen muss und die Phrase dann auch dort finde. Bei einer App erwarte ich hingegen schon, dass die Suchfunktion mich bei der Eingabe von „Best regards“ direkt zu dem passenden Unterpunkt von „regards“ bringt. Benutze die App gern weil sie klar srukturiert, einfach zu bedienen, veilseitig und übersichtlich ist. Weil man sogar handschriftlich suchen kann ist die Verwendung auf Tabletts zusätzlich interessant. Bis hier her hatte ich die Bewertung schon mal abgeschickt. Ob es vollständig ist mag ich nicht beurteilen, für meine Zwecke reicht es. Nicht nur der Wortschatz ist premium, auch der Preis war es. Leider findet keine Modellpflege mehr statt. Das iPhone X ist seit langem auf dem Markt, eine Anpassung an das große Display Fehlanzeige. Andere Apps aus gleichem Hause können dieses. Wenn man keine Updates mehr plant sollte man das auch kommunizieren. Bei dem bezahlten Preis kommt das jedoch nicht gut an.
