I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who only has very basic or beginners French. You could easily end up speaking a version of French that isn't recognised by natives of France! For example, try looking up the French for 'police'. It only gives you 'la police' when in fact there are 2 kinds of police in France; 'la police' which is the translation given in this dictionary but also 'les gendarmes'. The latter is not given at all, but in fact that's the word you'd most likely need when visiting France. 'La police' is more like the FBI in the USA. Many other common words missing. Do yourself a favour and get a different dictionary.

Probably worth what I paid, but I will also get a better version.

Ça ne vaut même pas 0,79€.
Tous les avis 5 étoiles sont presque de la même date, c'est plus que louche pour ne pas dire plus.

I tried to find words like "bottom" and "top" and they were not in the dictionary.   Seriously?  Is this app just a waste of time?
