## What is DictNow?

With the DictNow App, you can access your individual DictNow templates from your iPhone at any time and add additional information such as work tasks, images, etc. to them. This guarantees a media-break-free assignment to your office network at all times. The dictation can also be speech-recognized on your server in your office and the text is immediately available to your secretary for further processing. Thanks to the latest recording technology, dictations are recorded with excellent sound quality. These can then be sent securely to your secretary for further processing via an encrypted connection. The dictations are now directly embedded in your DictNow workflow. 

If you are on the move and prefer to use voice instead of keyboard to write memos, facts, information of any kind, DictNow can support you just as optimally. No matter which way you go, with the DictNow App you always have your mobile dictation device at hand and always remain networked with your office (workflow).

Requirement:
The operation of the DictNow App requires the use of a DictNow workflow server in your office/organization. Further information can be found at http://www.dictnow.wolterskluwer.com/dictaplus/. In addition, sending the recordings requires a network connection.

### 1.7 — 2021-12-10

** New: Send voice-recognized dictations for self-correction. Send your voice-recognized short memos securely to your DictNow user profile and use the text recognized in the background directly on your smartphone. Please note that the new function can only be used if you have updated your DictNow application to the latest version (at least DictNow 8.7.300) on the network side.

** NEW: MEMORY
The (dictation) memory is now displayed in a further list (MEMORY). This list shows the dictations that are in the database on the iPhone. These can be deleted or re-sent by sliding the data record to the left.

** FIXED: Sporadic incorrect shipping
If an error occurs while sending a dictation, e.g. by switching off the iPhone, this error is correctly intercepted and the dictation is displayed in the "DRAFT" list and given a red exclamation mark. If the dictation is then selected, it can be sent again.
