### 4/5 — The foundation is there

*2020-05-22, version 1.17*

This app is fire, but it could look so much better. I also wish i could swipe one way or the other when on defense. Some bugs as well. Sometime the die glitches out the bottom of the cup. Also I dont think the rim of the cup should have a lip hitbox. And lastly, the hard AI hits more nickers than my nan

### 4/5 — First steps in right direction, minor adjustments for perfection

*2020-03-31, version 1.13*

A couple of minor adjustments to the catching precision, and the ability to earn or even purchase some table skins will allow me to feel like I’m out with the boys. Especially in quarantine this game is as close as I’ve gotten to a cube in a long time.

### 3/5 — Very upsetting

*2020-02-10, version 1.11*

This game has so much potential for success. For one, maybe make the process of sinking a little easier. Played it for a whole day and got the same miss right on the cup but a tiny bit over. It’s like there is a certain way that you must shoot it every time to sink. Bounces are not random at all they always go through the opposing teams cups. Comp sank against me a lot. Also when the ai shoots the camera pans off to the right for no reason making it impossible to catch. This could be a game for the masses if done right. Even though it has a lot of work to do, I am excited to what this game may yield if done right. It’s not that hard bud

### 3/5 — Please fix the moving camera

*2020-02-05, version 1.11*

^^^^ this is all I have to complain about

### 3/5 — Bugs

*2020-01-23, version 1.08*

I love the concept of this app but there’s a couple bugs here and there like it’ll glitch and say the AI hit the table or cup when it was nowhere near it but the main one that’s really been bothering me is every time the AI is aboutta toss the POV pans to the side of the table and you can’t defend or sometimes even see if the die hit something

### 4/5 — Great idea, can’t wait for improvements

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

Love the idea, fun to play. Will enjoy the future of this app as it improves and gains traction. Snap on! 🎲

### 3/5 — Great game but almost too hard to catch

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

The game is simple and great but maybe needs 1 thing, a bigger catch hit box. I can’t make any snags even tho I’m tapping the die. Still killer and I will continue to play and try to get better taps

### 5/5 — Life Changing

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

In the grueling soul sucking 9-5 of the professional world, this game gives me a glimmer of hope. It’s a way to reminisce to the good ol’ college days of doming your opponents beer. These developers are the messiahs that we never knew we needed. Praise be.

### 5/5 — The Real Deal

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

Coming into downloading this game, I had high expectations. Could it truly live up to a nice sunny day with the boys where were sitting there slamming keystones and bud light? That was my true question before downloading it.

Though it may not be the real thing, it is indisputably the greatest past time ever created. Baseball who? Die-up will consume hours of my life on those cold or rainy days where I can’t huck.

I only recommend that you can shotty before every game.

### 5/5 — Back in action

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

I recently had brain surgery, I was down on my luck because I couldn’t crush beers and die up for a little while. Sure enough this game came out and allowed me to keep up my tossing skills. Could possibly add a fifa rule

### 5/5 — Yes, Dye really is life.

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

10/10 would “die” again.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Big let down

*2023-06-10*

For starters, you can’t see where the die is going on defense as the sides of the table are not shown on the screen. Defense is pretty much non existent in this game. It would be nice if you could slide your thumb around to see different angles or even zoom out. This would make the game less stiff and allow the defender to actually have a chance at catching the die. Overall don’t think I will be playing this game much after probably an hour total of playing it.

### 1/5 — Biggest disappointment of 2020

*2020-07-16, version 1.17*

Poorly made game, computers pretty much automatically win. Whoever coded this needs to go back to school. Grow a pair and go outside and play some real dye

### 1/5 — Great idea poor execution

*2020-01-25, version 1.08*

This game at time can be really fun except for the fact the camera rotates when your playing defense leaving you only to be able to see a tiny corner of the table

### 1/5 — Poor execution

*2020-01-17, version 1.05*

As a seasoned vet of the beautiful game I was beyond stoked to play this game. Ultimately it was a huge let down. The game is buggy beyond belief, way to many pop up ads that it makes you lose interest. Graphics are pretty bad, defense is non existent unless you are the AI. All of the rules of beer dye clearly do not apply to this game. AI grabs over the table, doesn’t have a height minimum, no field goals, the list goes on! This app needs major help and it is a shame that the beautiful game has to share a name with this disaster.

### 1/5 — Grabbing Over Table

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

Tired of the AI grabbing the die before it sinks into the cup... extremely buggy

### 1/5 — Cheap cash grab

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

It’s essentially a worse version of cup pong filled with a ton of ads the graphics are bad and the air makes no sense.

### 1/5 — This game isnt just bad

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

This game is terrible

### 1/5 — A poor excuse of a game

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

Can I have my 2 minutes back please

### 2/5 — Good Idea, Bad Execution

*2020-01-17, version 1.1*

Written by a Beer Die Guy,

I only write this review because I absolutely love the idea of this app, I was super excited to download it and start huckin but was only to be disappointed once I started to play. This game has so much potential to be the number one app but the creation seemed far from my expectation. I would provide details on what needs to be better, but play the game for a while and it’s clear what needs to be revised. All I can hope is that you take my advice and take the time to create a Beer Die masterpiece so I can lay back and huck with the boys. Cheers, Die is life, and Go Cougs.

The Beer Die Guy

**Developer response:** Thanks for the response. I'd love to make this the best Beer Die experience possible. I'd be happy to resolve any issues you have with it, but unfortunately I'm not a mind reader 😅. Can you give specific feedback on what you think would make the app better?

Cheers,
Robert
Lead Developer

### 3/5 — Multiplayer doesn’t work

*2023-06-04*

Sending URL to friend doesn’t work. Tried sending multiple times and both of us were not able to access link.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Cheee!

*2020-05-21, version 1.17*

This game is so hype! Sam you are the muh freakin man dude

### 5/5 — Multiplayer

*2020-04-02, version 1.13*

Pretty good but not sure if it does 3 or 4 players?

### 5/5 — Hilarious

*2020-03-30, version 1.13*

Couldn’t believe me eyes when I saw someone made this game. And it’s actually pretty fun if you play against friends. Would be cool if updates or modifications could be made to make it better but honestly its fun the way it is too

### 5/5 — Unreal

*2020-02-13, version 1.11*

It’s June, summer of 2019, cat stevens is blasting on the speaker, the weathers warm, the skies are clear and the only things pouring are dice from the sky and keystones into my red solo cup.

Fully bricked, housed on a cold couch on a gloomy winters day, the boys and I can only reminisce of these good ol’ days of summer and the 9-5 grind of tossin dice.

Each day goes by, and each day gets colder than the last, checkin the weekly weather forecast in hopes of a warm enough day to huck, but the day never comes.

But today, although not nearly warm enough to huck outdoors, the boys have stumbled upon a hidden gem and a true game changer. This DieUp app.

At first I was a little skeptical, and didn’t think this app would compare to the real life sport of tossin die.. I was completely wrong, this is app is unbelievably fun and a good way to stay in form during the off-season. Housed on a cold couch, or sitting in a pointless lecture this app is a great way to pass time and make sure your mentally fit for the tossin in the spring.

Great app!

### 5/5 — Wow

*2020-02-13, version 1.11*

Ive been couched since mid November as The winter gloom has frosted over the boys and my table.

How do I hone in my craft during the off-season?

Once spring comes and I can alleviate the preseason jitters, I am confident that, physically, I will be back in a week.

However, mentally you cannot over prepare. This game has given me the ability to mentally prepare and continue to be a student of the game.

Thank you creators for everything you have done here.

### 5/5 — New ideas

*2020-01-23, version 1.08*

So I actually play dye in real life with the bros. So I think you guys should add a actual person tossing it up and maybe the camera back alittle more so it’s like 3rd person.

### 5/5 — Beer dye for the win

*2020-01-17, version 1.1*

Glad beer dye is getting the recognition it deserves. Can’t wait for defense to be incorporated. On wisco

### 5/5 — Higher Tosses Needed

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

Humor game for jokes with the boys. Big issue though...tosses are low.

### 5/5 — I am review 100 😈

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

Pretty cool idea also get flexed on 💪 Kachow

### 5/5 — wow

*2020-01-16, version 1.1*

not quite as good as drinking cold ones with the boys on a warm Saturday afternoon but it can tide you over till the next die session. needs a few rule changes and of course better graphics but only game i will be playing on my phone. would make this longer but die urgently need to be tossed.
