Told me I would receive a refund and an email about the refund. It never happened. My credit card then had a charge for $99 for something I didn't purchase, so I had to cancel my credit card. This place is a fraud!!!!! DON'T USE THEM!!!! They are frauds!!!! ### 1/5 — Poor process *2024-02-25, version 1.76* Very poor app. It doesn’t work. And the staff on the contact mentioned does not know how to handle the situation. It is frustrating trying to get any services booked through. ### 1/5 — Absolute Disaster, be careful if you are in Canada *2024-02-06, version 1.76* So I am in canada and app has Us and Canada phone number/ texts for help. You assume when u are in Canada all the prices are Canadian but they are not! They tell u( it is in their description) that you wont be charged till they assign somebody to the job and after confirmation, the third party will hold a small amount just at first and rest will be charged after. Guess what, all wrong. I booked a cleaner at 11 am for the next day, till 6 pm they had nobody to assign the work to and the full amount plus the exchange rate was charged to my credit card! I called maybe 10 times and emailed the same just to cancel this order. I needed my apartment get cleaned the day after and they wanted to keep me waiting till the last second to magically find somebody for this job. The customer service answers the phone( and they all have strong accent, so difficult to understand them) and they were keep telling me we will get back to u in an hour. Finally at 6 pm i was able to cancel this order and i am just hoping i dont lose money on exchange rate!!! Why the hell somebody in Canada pays US dollars for cleaning??? I call this a scam. And you should be able to confirm max in an hour, not 10 hours!!! Update after a week: they havent reimbursed me yet! One week holding to my money and keep telling me they will take care of that. I couldn’t get a hold of anybody to find a replacement. This problem caused me a lot of stress and expenses to find other people, delay in moving truck and staying more time in old house. Nothing was done!! Save your money and get a reputable business instead. ### 1/5 — Terrible cleaners *2023-06-24, version 1.66* The best part are the schedulers. The worst are the house cleaners. They don’t do a good job. They’re pad hourly so they don’t care. They go slowly. I had one guy in 3 hours only clean the floors and not all of that. Twice they didn’t touch the shower and tub. These are bottom of the barrel cleaners. Couldn’t clean a total of 4 or 5 rooms in 3 hours!! One cleaner cased my house. She was looking in rooms she wasn’t supposed to clean. She took one puzzle piece! Just to be a jerk. I found someone with her own business and she’s great. Fast and thorough. Couldn’t be happier. Never again will I use Diem! ### 1/5 — Horrific *2023-06-15, version 1.66* Needed a cleaning service desperately but using this app honestly made me cancel the service It’s incredibly frustrating trying to book anything, once you do it takes you through the process all over again and again and again ### 1/5 — Trash App *2023-05-10, version 1.66* Even though the app tells you that you won’t be charged until the job is complete, it still seems to try to take your money and when it can’t, it calls your card “invalid.” Once you select the job you want, it takes a very long time for someone to actually be selected to do the job and if someone is selected, their rate may be different from Diem’s rate. So basically… don’t try to use this app if you need something done ASAP and don’t use if you don’t have funds. It’s quite inconvenient. ### 3/5 — Unprofessional - no show *2023-05-07, version 1.66* Diemer canceled the first time because he didn’t have his tools and the second time he never even bothered to connect or show up. Very unprofessional. They have mentioned that they’ll issue a full refund, which I do appreciate but I don’t think I’ll use this service again. ### 1/5 — Horrible service *2023-04-29, version 1.66* I got a cleaner and it was supposed to be another person. The person I hired wasn't the one who came they sent someone else. The person spent 4 hours cleaning one room which was barely dirty and another hour each on tiny bathrooms. Tried contacting their instant text and no reply. Requested tech support, and it advised long wait times (3 days). Reached out several times via phone and text. No answer from phone and no response from the text number they provided. Seems to be more of a scam than anything. Had to end up disputing the charges through my bank because they wouldn’t contact me back to give a refund for services not provided. If you are lucky and get what you need, good for you, else forget about your money. I’m paid for two people, only one showed up and I never got my refund or response from any follow up messages I sent them. The number on their app sends you to a spam “medical services provider “ who will give you the directory phone number if you ask them for a phone number to reach someone at Diem. ### 1/5 — Awful Customer Service *2025-07-09, version 1.77* I downloaded this app to book cleaning services. Booked something and then changed my mind. Found out there is no way to cancel a service on the app. Texted the contact number and also sent emails. No response. Charge has now appeared on my credit card for a service not received. ### 1/5 — Don’t trust this company *2025-01-30, version 1.77* I was looking for house keeping and found an app called DIEM that said I could put in a request and would be contacted with a job assignment. The app stated no money would be put on my credit card until the work was completed and approved. I waited 3 hours and no one contacted me so I cancelled the job. The app accepted the cancellation and in written information on the app I was told I would receive a refund. I then called the phone number on the app and was told by an employee that my refund was approved because money should not have been taken from my credit card without the job being assigned. After a week with no refund I called again and was told to wait another week. After the second week I called and texted and was told by both call and text that my refund was on the way. After a week and a half I texted again and received no response from DIEM so started a dispute with my credit card company. This app promises no money charged until work is done but took my money immediately after I put the request on the app, the work was never assigned or completed, and my money has been promised to me as a refund for 2.5 weeks now and I have not received it. ### 1/5 — They are liars *2024-11-01, version 1.77* I love to give them zero star, but I can’t . Please don’t use this app.They will take your money and they will not do any job and they will not refund your money. ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service *2024-10-29, version 1.77* I had placed an order for a cleaning service which I then cancelled the next day. They had already withdrawn the $90 some dollars from my account, which they state the money isn’t withdrawn until you receive your service. So, one lie already. Second, it has been well over seven days since my order was placed and I have yet to receive my refund. It is almost impossible to get an answer from their customer service and it’s always the same generic response. I sent them an email (never responded), then called and was given an auto prompt to text them. Just give me my money back. Your customer service team is awful. I would bypass this app entirely. Very confusing to use and not transparent about the fees. I paid for a service before anyone accepted the job - just doesn’t feel right. ### 1/5 — Do not use this app *2024-04-25, version 1.76* I will take a minute to write about this App, I found an Ad on craigslist that was advertising two hours for $69 which is false advertisement, and I call the number and some lady answer saying she was going to be sending a link to my cellphone to make the payment to Diem App so I schedule the time and the cost was $85.73 with taxes, so that was already a red flag they advertise fake dollar amount. I schedule the time and no one tries to contact me a day before or the same date to ensure I give them access to the apartment gate and provide directions. I tried multiple times to call the phone number and the phone is out of service, I send an email and no one responds. Diem is an app that probably hires anyone and is very sketchy the people who takes those jobs. The day of the cleaning day, I assume no on is going to show up but they deducted already my money from my bank, so I get a call from the lease office saying someone is there to clean my apartment. The lady was 25 minutes late, the two hours she stayed there she did not bring a vacuum, she cleaned the restroom good, but the kitchen refrigerator was not clean on the bottom cause she could not bend, and the oven was not clean inside. The dishwasher was not clean and the floors were also not clean. I do not recommend using this app. Anyone gets to pick the job and they are not professional at communicating and it feels like it is a scam. I understand people get paid less than what they charge but it is not worth it. That’s a long day for a person to clean house and a long time to have them in my house. Eventually I gave in because she was so persistent and she did do a wonderful job.
