Unofficial information app – not affiliated with the Bundeswehr or the BMVg.

Signed up and not sure what to expect from day one? Dienstantritt gives you honest answers — no red tape, no recruitment spin, no empty promises.

Daily routine, duties, rights and drill — what's ahead of you and how the first weeks really go.

Who's who? Every rank with its insignia, form of address and order of precedence — plus pay by rank and experience level.

Pay & earnings
What you earn as voluntary military personnel or a temporary soldier, when the money arrives, and how allowances work — with source and date. Figures not yet in force are clearly marked “projected” and without guarantee.

Glossary, abbreviations & slang

The content is for general orientation and does not replace official information from your unit.

From version 1.2, Dienstantritt contains no third-party advertising. Optional usage analytics is disabled by default and can be enabled or revoked at any time in the app.
