## What is Diet Score Tracker?

Adherence scores your last seven days of meals against four published dietary patterns — MIND, DASH, Mediterranean and HEI-2020. Photograph a plate, confirm what it is, and the score follows.

HOW IT WORKS

Point the camera at a plate. The app proposes what it recognises — five dishes, then five more if none of those fit, and a way to describe your own if the catalog doesn't hold it. Nothing is logged until you confirm it. Recognition proposes; you decide.

FOUR DIET SCORES

Each of the four is a published instrument with its own definition of a good week, and they disagree with each other — which is the point. A week that scores well on one and poorly on another is telling you something a single number cannot. Every component is shown with the rule it was scored against, so no figure is unaccountable. Run all four, or switch off the ones you aren't interested in.

NO GRAMS, NO GUESSING

A photograph cannot recover grams — the oil in the pan, the depth of the bowl — so the app does not pretend otherwise. Portions are four coarse steps. A dish you described yourself gets no invented nutrient figures, and where a rubric needs a measurement that was never taken, it leaves the plate out rather than scoring you on a number nobody has. A missing measurement is not a low one.

EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

No account, no sign-in, no server holding your meals. Photos are never uploaded, your log is never transmitted, and every score is arithmetic that runs on the device. The app sends anonymous milestone events — that it was opened, that a trial started, that a purchase completed — so we know it is being used. Never a dish, a photo, a score, or anything you typed.

ONE PAYMENT

Free for seven days, and the clock starts when you log your first plate rather than when you install — so you can take a photo, see what it recognises and read how the scoring works before anything begins. After that Adherence is a single purchase. No subscription. Nothing renews.

YOUR LOG IS YOURS

Export your log and settings to a file in Files or iCloud Drive, and read it back on a new phone. No account means nothing to lock you out.

Adherence is a general wellness app. It is not a medical device, it does not give medical advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Its scores describe what you logged; talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before making changes because of anything it shows you.
