## What is diff?

You get a starting word, a target shape, and a hint.

Example:
  CREAM
  +4, -3
  _ _ _ _ _ _
  "Morning beverage"

... did you guess COFFEE? You got this.

Color clues guide you as you type:
  • Green — right letter, right spot
  • Yellow — right letter, wrong spot
  • Red — was in the starting word, but not the answer
  • Gray — not in the answer at all

That's the whole game. No timers. No leaderboards. No notifications you didn't ask for. Just one puzzle a day, fewer letters than you'd think, and the satisfaction of seeing the word click into place.

What's inside
  • A new puzzle every day
  • Streaks, history, and share-your-result-in-emoji
  • Crews — small private groups for friends and coworkers, with a daily group view of who's solved what
  • Optional accounts (sign in via magic link; no password needed)
  • Daily-puzzle-by-email if you want it; one-click unsubscribe
  • Anonymous play if you don't want an account — your history lives on the device
