### 4/5 — Good program

*2023-04-17, version 3.2.2*

I’ve noticed some changes since using. I would say it’s worth giving a try. I’m not as tired as I used to be.

### 4/5 — Digbi health

*2022-09-18, version 2.6.3*

It’s been nine months I am in this program. It’s been a great journey so far except when I had to travel out of country couldn’t communicate much with my coach.
Being consistent and disciplined with the reports from this program has helped me with my health. My coach Azel is working with me on my concerned issues. Hopefully I get my targeted results in my annual check up in November.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-05-11, version 2.4.1*

Love the customization of this app and the support of the coaches. I will Recommend this app to everyone I know, especially if you are trying to lose weight.

### 5/5 — Works for me

*2022-05-06*

I’ve been doing the Digbi program for 16 months. The thing I think I appreciate the most is the educational videos from the beginning and my food reports. Understanding how my body processes foods and reacts to exercise was an eye opener. I have lost slowly with some up and down but at least I’m not gaining. I am currently 14 pounds away from where my doctor would like me to be. I have struggled with my coaches in the past but I feel like my concerns were listened to and changes were made. I have many food allergies and can’t eat several of the recommended vegetables. I had to repeat that information several times which was frustrating. Overall I think the program has worked for me. I plan on eating this way the rest of my life.

### 5/5 — Digbi Works

*2022-05-05*

As I get older I knew I needed a little help to lose and keep weight off. I started the beginning of 2021 and was able to lose over 14 lbs over a over a few months. Digbi has definitely helped me learn more about food and specifically how food interacts with me personally through more knowledge of gut health and dna. For a while I stopped recording/reporting my meals and my weight started creeping up. I recently started recording/reporting my meals and it has helped me get back closer to where I was. My coach is very understanding and responsive. Having a coach for Accountability definitely helps me keep on track. I know I need to get more into more of what Digbi offers as I have only take advantage of part of the information they give.

### 5/5 — Program is great,but app needs a bit of work

*2022-04-27*

UPDATE: this program has been life altering. I’ve been on it for 16 Months. I hit my goal weight after being on the program for about a year and am maintaining now. I lost a total of 98 pounds which was a huge accomplishment given the health issues struggle with. I followed the program to the letter and it worked for me. The app and coaching are a big part of my success. They continue to tweak and update the app which is great. They’ve added the ability to track gut symptoms and elimination which was a great addition for connecting what I eat with gut issues/distress. They also changed the font as I suggested below so it’s easier to see what you’re typing in the food log. They haven’t added a spell check yet which would make food entry much easier to manage. I’d also like to see the weight icon change colors when you move from obese to overweight to healthy weight. All the other icons change based on meeting goals. All in all a great tool to compliment the program.

Original review:

First, the program is working really well for me. The weight is falling off but I’m also following everything exactly as suggested. The simplicity of taking photos of food without needing to figure out portions or weight is great. Having a coach to answer questions and offer motivation has been a game changer. Entering data is pretty simple but I would love to see a spell check on food entry. I can’t imagine what the coaches go through trying to read our typos. Additionally, the font color is light so hard to read which makes it easy to make mistakes. I think bolding or changing the font color would go a long way. Also, the Reports section and the Reports tab under Me has different info when it seems like they should have the same reports. There were more glitches when I first signed up but they’re better now. This is a whole new way of eating for me and I’m feeling so much better that I plan on sticking to the program.

### 5/5 — Digbi Program Rocks

*2021-12-20, version 1.7.0*

The Digbi program has been life changing for me. The dashboard is very helpful and the program is customized to each individual!

### 5/5 — Loving the experience

*2021-12-06, version 1.7.0*

Overall, I love the program. The health coaches are great, the daily cravings and energy tracking in the app is helpful, and I get all my meals rated on their healthiness on the same day!

I specifically like the depth of the Gut Biome and Genetic reports I've gotten in the program. The reports can use a better design, but the data in there has really helped me to improve my health over the past year.

### 5/5 — Great coaches backed by science

*2021-09-28*

Great program with access to a coach that answers any questions you have along the way. I have been doing this for weight loss and have been successful at changing my eating habits. I have tried other programs where they told you not to eat certain foods but did not tell you why. Every time I have a question why I need to avoid or include a certain food they have a scientific reason for it. I like programs that are backed by science not just because they say so.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your kind words. This type of success tory is what gives the team motivation to serve you the best we can every day!

### 4/5 — Good concept

*2021-09-22, version 1.4.2*

I love the integration with taking photos of my food and not having to type in calories. There is an annoying alert that no one can seem to get rid of in the settings. I think the food log should go before the daily check in since that is the first thing I do. Other then that the interface is good.

### 5/5 — Great program and great app!

*2021-09-15, version 1.4.1*

Digbi has had a very positive impact on my well being. I encourage everyone that wants to lose a few pounds, but more importantly, wants to feel great to give it a try. Very much an individual program in a world of one size fits all!

### 5/5 — Digbi

*2021-09-03, version 1.4.0*

Best program I've ever done, and I've tried them all. The science makes it real and effective.

### 5/5 — Programmed for YOU!

*2021-07-20, version 1.3.1*

The personalized program is unbeatable. Once you get the specialized plan for your body type everything else will fall in place.

### 5/5 — It Works

*2021-07-16, version 1.3.1*

This program is easy to follow and they provide a lot of helpful information. I would recommend to do if you like science based facts to guide your weight loss.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Avoid if you can.

*2024-10-15*

I got this with blue shields wellness program.

App does try to upsell you, and some of the functions are unavailable without it. Even those on Home Screen. Technical issues were unresolved and support tickets were ignored even when done by their own staff. The design layout was a bit difficult to follow.

The meal and cgm had so much potential but the coach support was inconsistent, feedback provided weeks later, and feedback often unhelpful . Unhelpful as in a food was labeled bad for staring at 90 and ending at 91, basically same. So you could get a salad and cake receiving the same nutrient score even though they clearly weren’t because the coach doesn’t seem to understand blood sugar levels. Does not seem to be individual based. The program does favor fermented foods specifically kimchi and sauerkraut so be prepared for that on feedback and poor rating of any meal without it. Meal suggestions were really specific and may not be geographically available in all areas. Be prepared for repeated comments and ignored feedback. If you order a cgm through them they don’t support returns, 5 of 6 were not functional.

### 1/5 — Poor UX and Support

*2024-10-01, version 4.4.2*

This is not an intuitive app at all. To make matters worse there isn’t a desktop version available.

The minutia of details they want from meals is unrealistic in busy day to day life. If you literally have no understanding about calories and nutrition then it may possibly help, but there are several other diet and wellness apps that are easier to follow.

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2020-11-05*

When it works it has too many useless actions. Take a picture of meals? Why? You can’t even see the full contents of the meal. So you have to type in every ingredient and it’s volume. Sorry, but I have no time. And the Tiles are a joke. No accountability. I can say anything and get all green tiles and still blow my diet. Also, it doesn’t work with my iWatch Activity app. So I have to enter my steps and exercise after I find the time. (See earlier time comment). And the Fitbit that was offered had a faulty link that failed. So, after a month or two I quit this app and went to Noom, which is way easier and has great educational content. It’s been over 2 months and I’m still waiting for my gut biome results. Total joke. I deleted and reinstalled this app 3 times. Attempted to update the software and it shut my phone down. Bye Felicia!

**Developer response:** Hi gmanlover . I’m sorry to hear that your experience with Digbi Health was less than exceptional. Please write to us at digbi@digbihealth.com, if you would like to talk to someone about your experience.

### 1/5 — There is nothing helpful about this application...

*2019-10-05*

I downloaded this application as a requirement from Blue Shield for a weight loss program. Nothing about the application works properly. 1. Meal plans and recipes are not downloaded to anywhere and you cannot create a shopping list from multiple recipes as promised. 2. The application is suppose to link with this FitBit scale they are requiring I use, but there is no way to link it. 3. When attempting to read your DNA report you have to start from the beginning every time you are finished with reading a section, there is no back button or a way to swipe back to the previous page. 4. It requires you to take pictures of your food but half of the time the pictures go missing after you have saved them. 5. Some days it will show your Foods to Avoid and Super Foods and other days it is locked stating “waiting for reports”. 6. It is glitchy, stalls all the time, closes on its own, and logs me out for no reason. 7. It will give you the same dang reminder everyday to log your weight...but it won’t notify you when your next “education” video is available.
Honestly there is nothing about this application I find appealing or useful. You can’t even read your $130 DNA results with ease on this application. So what’s the point. Blue Shield makes all of these requirements from this program but does not provide a proper application to execute those requirements.

### 1/5 — Regret

*2019-09-08, version 1.1.2*

Terrible UX.
-notifications and reminders have unclickable links
-most communication is by email not the app
-foods proposed are just from other sites
- receive reminders for Rx report that’s been done 2 months ago- box is clicked that it’s done but it carries on sending reminders
-weekly video 3 has no sound playing

As a program
-wastes a lot of time - fumbling around trying to figure out what’s next, where things are at
-joined mid June. Received a report 3 weeks ago that my dna reports were done....still haven’t received anything
-I’ve gained weight in the last 12 weeks
-I’ve gotten so frustrated with the bad ux I’ve asked my insurance provider if I can do a different program because this seems in beta and it has been a waste of time so far and I’ve gotten really frustrated because as soon as I refmgisteres is did all the forms, read everything... but this is a poorly executed program.

### 2/5 — Clunky

*2025-03-12, version 5.1.0*

The idea behind this app is decent. The execution of the idea is not. After receiving results from DNA testing, you can’t click into the results. The buttons act like they are ready to show the results when you touch them but nothing happens. That’s just the worst thing about it. There’s so much lacking to be desired.

### 2/5 — Rough draft?

*2024-06-10, version 4.2.5*

I am a new Digbi user, it was one suggested by my insurance wellness program- but the app seems like it’s a rough draft, a beta version where the dashboard isn’t intuitive, there are typos all over and the onboarding is lacking.

I’m going to continue to work with the program for a bit, but having used other wellness/weightloss apps…. This one is frustrating

T.M.

### 2/5 — Program maybe good but software needs help

*2022-02-18*

I have been on the program for over 3 weeks now. So far, I haven’t seen any changes in my weight. I like my coach and I’m looking for a more sustainable life style and so I’m ok that it’s taking a while. What I’m not a fan of is their terribly long videos that make it seem like sitting through a seminar 10 years ago and an app that needs help. 1. Each meal gets a score but you don’t get an overall view to see the scores in one page or an average day or weekly score 2. No way to store frequently eaten foods 3. No spell check (not a big deal but is frustrating) 4. Not customizable fasting windows. I do Atleast 18 but their program only shows upto 16. 5. Increase options to pick from in exercise and not have meditation as a separate bubble to pick from daily

### 2/5 — Trouble with app since iPhone update

*2021-10-05, version 1.5.0*

Can someone please contact me to help with the app login? After I updated my phone, the app logged me out. Now when I attempt to login it doesn’t recognize my email and when I add my phone number instead it doesn’t text me the code. I would really like to get back into my account.

### 2/5 — Digbi user

*2021-06-30, version 1.2.0*

As it stands now I would not recommend this program to anyone. If you have already been doing Intermittent Fasting followed with a relatively clean low carb diet then you probably will not get any results. The coaches seem to follow a script. The individual genetic and gut report recommended one thing, but nothing changed as far as the foods that were encouraged. A person could develop disordered eating habits if the coach ignores warning signs. The program does not sync up with other wellness programs like, I-fit or Fitbit. This requires repetitive logging.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great program

*2024-09-01, version 4.4.1*

### 5/5 — Fixing my health

*2023-12-06, version 3.6.3*

Digbi helped me learn what to eat and what not to eat based on my testing. I feel better, lost weight, and now know what to eat and what to avoid instead of generic recommendations.

### 5/5 — This Program did so much!!

*2023-04-12, version 3.2.2*

This program is the best! I learned so much about how my body and food work together not only did I lose weight but my health improved tremendously!! I was successful! Julie Landrum

### 5/5 — Love Digbi

*2023-04-03, version 3.2.2*

Love Digbi!

### 5/5 — Great app to track ur gut health

*2023-02-23, version 3.1.0*

### 5/5 — Excellent program!

*2022-12-01, version 2.8.2*

I have lost 40 lbs in 5 months! Followed the program and worked with my coach who is always super supportive. I haven’t felt this good in years.

### 5/5 — Life changing!

*2022-11-25, version 2.8.2*

I found this app easy to use and the results showed. Overall really felt the personalized touches from coaching to general information. Highly highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great App!!!

*2022-11-22, version 2.8.1*

I love this app. The coaches are awesome! I am not a technical person but I can easily use this app. The program works as long as you use it.

### 5/5 — It’s a life-saver

*2022-11-15, version 2.8.0*

I have a unique problem. The Digbi team assessed my needs and customized a program for me. Everything was fine until I contracted COVID. The Digbi team reassessed my needs. My routine was changed and they literally saved my life. I am forever grateful to them.

### 5/5 — Great App and staff that care.

*2022-11-09*

I am grateful for this program and app. I started a while ago on a quest to get healthier. I wanted something and someone that understood my body and how it works. I wanted no judgment too cause I am very unhealthy and heavy. This is that place. I’m still on my journey to the healthier me and I’m sticking with it. I can say I no longer “sleep” with stomach pain or terrible bloating and gas. Working on one issue at a time at my pace with a great coach. Thanks Digbi!
