Useful enough but this feels very much like a first draft. It’s now looking old and clunky and there have been no incremental improvements. The lack of access to the delay points in the matrix is just insanely bad. Come on chaps!

Per the app manual, only iOS7 supports offline demo.

As with all networking and external control on anything DiGiCo, good luck getting it to connect. Why DiGiCo has so many issues developing DHCP on network control systems is a complete mystery to me. Allen and Heath has a similar app for their QU series console and it took me all of thirty seconds to get their app to connect with full control. I shouldn't need to be a network engineer to get this thing set up, and having to tweak my wifi settings to connect when I'm already on an existing network is an absolute pain. Unless you have a dedicated wireless router connected to your console for the purpose of control, don't even bother with this app. Once you actually get it to connect it works well and is generally a good app - if you can get it to connect in the first place.

Even Behringer does a better job than this.
We waited years after it was promised and Digico barely delivered.
The workflow is ok, nothing special, just ok. There's no customizable layout so it just tries to mimic the board.
The metering is WAY off, nothing close to what's displayed on the board. It's virtually useless for levels, often lagging 6 to 10 dB.
Some Control Group faders get laggy, unresponsive and can move in large jerks on an iPad 2, it's useable on the faster iPad Mini 2, but not great.
It only allows ONE iPad at a time to connect, and it MUST be assigned fixed IP and selected/assigned at the console end.
It's reconnect if there's a wifi stumble is unreliable, it can even hang the app requiring wifi to be turned off/on or the iPad rebooted.
It won't work at all if the iPad has cell data turned on.
The OSC code Digico has adopted isn't published so no chance of doing any custom apps on any platform.
Basically, it's the bare minimum that could be done and there's been no updates in well over a year.
It also doesn't have any off line mode. You MUST be connected to the console for the app to work.
Disappointing effort when far less expensive digital consoles offer so much more.

Overall I really like it although I haven’t utilised it fully yet. However it crashes without fail every time I switch to snapshot tab. Using iPad Air 2 with SD10.

Really enjoying the Application for the SD9. The speed of the app is great, especially for mixing FOH and using it for foldback's when playing.
