## What is DigiMedal?

DigiMedal is the catalogue your race medals deserve.

Photograph the medal in the drawer, point your watch or Strava at the app, and the rest writes itself. Every race you've ever finished — neatly tagged, sorted by distance, mapped across the world.

— THE MEDAL VAULT —
Snap a photo of any race medal and DigiMedal's vision AI reads the race name, distance, date and city automatically. Edit anything that's off in two taps. Search and filter your full collection by distance category, year or location.

— THE PR BOARD —
A live, per-category personal-best board for every standard distance: 5K, 10K, Half, Marathon, 50K, 50 Mile, 100K, 100 Mile. Set goal times and watch the gap close as faster races land. The moment a faster finish is logged — from any source — your board updates automatically.

— THE YEAR-IN-REVIEW —
Total kilometres, total time on feet, longest run, longest streak, fastest 5K through marathon, countries visited. Editorial-grade stats laid out like a magazine, fresh every January 1st.

— THE ATLAS —
Every race you save pins itself to a world map. Zoom into a city to re-run a weekend. Rotate the globe to plan your next.

— ONE-TAP IMPORTS —
• Apple Health — pull every running workout from your watch
• Strava — connect once, syncs forever
• Garmin Connect — coming soon
• GPX / TCX upload — for the races your watch missed

— DESIGNED FOR RUNNERS WHO ACTUALLY RUN —
Dark-first interface optimised for early mornings. Bold, readable timing typography. No social feed, no leaderboards, no notifications begging for your attention — just your collection, your records, and your next start line.

— PRIVATE BY DEFAULT —
Your medals, your races, your data. Per-user encryption. Sign in with Apple. No tracking, no ads, no data sale.

— FREE DURING UAT —
DigiMedal is currently free for early users. No credit card required. Premium tiers (advanced analytics, race-day predictions, family sharing) coming with v1.0.

Built by runners, for runners.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.9 — 2026-08-10

What's new in DigiMedal 1.9
Your Medal Wall, fixed and refreshed.
• Fixed: the AR Medal Wall now shows your real medal photos — it could previously stay blank or show white placeholders instead of your medals.
• Fixed a freeze that could happen when viewing a large medal collection on the wall.
• Fixed the share button on the Medal Wall not producing a shareable photo.
• Refreshed the Medal Wall's controls with a cleaner, native glass look.

### 1.8 — 2026-08-07

DigiMedal now runs on Apple's new Liquid Glass design — buttons, tabs, and the scan button all have a fresh, translucent look. Plus a polished app icon and a couple of bug fixes: no more stray error text on your dashboard, and race photos now display correctly every time.

### 1.7 — 2026-05-30

What's new in DigiMedal 1.7

A clearer Free tier, and one less surprise on upload.

• Free plan now includes your first 3 medals — perfect for trying DigiMedal end to end with your most recent finishes.
• Pro unlocks unlimited medals plus every run from Apple Health, AthLinks, and Strava. Upgrade in‑app any time.
• Add‑medal screens now tell you up front when you've hit the Free cap, instead of failing after the photo has uploaded.
• Race day stays Free: add the race, finish time, city, and any bib / race‑day photo no matter which tier you're on. Only attaching the medal needs Pro past 3.

### 1.6.2 — 2026-05-25

What's new in DigiMedal 1.6.2

Fixes for adding race photos and keeping your edits.

• Fixed: on the Race screen, tapping "Choose from Library" to add your medal, race-day, or bib photo now opens your photo library again — it had stopped responding. Taking a new photo with the camera was unaffected.
• Photos you add now appear right away, instead of only after the next cloud sync.
• Apple Health no longer overwrites edits to an imported run — the race name, distance, finish time, date, and location you set now stay exactly as you left them after every sync.

### 1.6 — 2026-05-24

What's new in DigiMedal 1.6

The whole app now works offline — reliably, and for your entire history.

• Truly offline, everywhere. Your races, PR board, goals, year-in-review stats, full medal gallery, race detail, and the finish-line atlas all work with no signal — not just a cached summary, the real screens.
• Photos offline too. Medal photos, race-day shots, and bib pics you've viewed once stay viewable with no connection.
• Always up to date, automatically. Everything syncs in the background the moment you sign in and keeps refreshing on its own — open any screen and your latest data is already there.
• New distances: 4-Mile and 10-Mile now have their own PR categories alongside 5K, 10K, Half, and Marathon.
• Your full history downloads — even huge collections. Catalogues with thousands of races and medals now sync completely instead of stopping short.
• Fixed: on some accounts, races, the PR board, and goals stayed empty after signing in even though everything was safely in the cloud. Sign-in now reliably restores your full history.
• More resilient sync: a hiccup syncing one thing (say, the map) no longer blanks the rest of your data.

Lace up anywhere — subway, trail, airplane mode. DigiMedal keeps up.
