### 2/5 — just a time waste

*2026-08-26*

been playing a few weeks now n honestly i have no idea what the point is other than literally wasting my own time. other than that glad to see a new digimon game even if it is meh. i just play this when my other games are out of energy. 2/5

### 4/5 — Its not all that bad

*2026-08-26*

The game isnt as bad as people say it is, its one of those games you do your stuff in and then put down for the day and pick it up tomorrow, the devs are starting to listen and do much better, ive been having a lot of fun playing this game on the side with other games, I think its a pretty fun little side passtime! (:

### 2/5 — Matt and metalgarurumkn

*2026-08-26*

If we don’t pay to draw in 13 days they leave and we all don’t even get one pity draw smh ofc when my fav characters implemented I can’t receive him because of money smh

### 4/5 — Pretty fun

*2026-08-26*

Not sure why so many ppl say it’s P2W I play it as a DIGIMON fan and it’s a good idle game and I haven’t spent a penny. I think it’s not the most skilled game but it is 100% fun to pass time and raise some mons. Do some battles and keep busy.

### 4/5 — DIGIMON UP – Suchtfaktor vorhanden, aber leider sehr eintönig

*2026-08-26*

Leider bekommt man davon überhaupt nichts.

### 3/5 — Won’t load

*2026-08-18*

Game refuses to load, everything is updated but hasn’t been able to load since last “update” been a week. Help?

### 3/5 — Above a 3/5 is absurd

*2026-08-16*

It just isn’t worth it, but it isn’t a misery.
It’s simple and harmless idle game bs, but it’s so not anything above a 3 star rating.
Also buggy in tedious little ways, idk how you keep breaking one basic boss fight in something so shallow but my god you keep doing it.
If you like idles and digimon, it’s there for you.
But this is not ‘amazing’ in any way nor is it worth more than 3 stars like others weirdly claim, even as a digimon fan.

### 1/5 — Don’t Bother

*2026-08-14*

I don’t usually leave reviews for anything. But these dev’s are killing their game. There is absolutely no balance between Android and iOS now. Android users have a significant advantage receiving overcompensation for an outage. A one day outage has given Android multiple days worth of progression. PVP in the game is ruined. These modes should be taken offline until they can restore the balance between platforms. Don’t waste your time, play something else.

### 2/5 — More stable than Android but I won’t spend any more money until PVP is fixed.

*2026-08-13*

The PVP in this game is so sad. People with 70-80% of your current power will randomly win and you will lose a lot of points because the dev team has no idea how PVP should work. The only way to win is not to play. I discourage any whales from funding this game until the devs get their act together, stop vibe coding the app, and release content that improves the Digimon IP.

### 1/5 — It’s pretty boring.

*2026-08-12*

The game starts getting boring probably around champion stage.. and it’s even more boring by the time you actually max out your first Digimon. The other “modes” get boring quick and Digiworld search is just straight up BORING. Also the chat filter is terrible made

### 1/5 — Nah.

*2026-08-12*

Title.

### 2/5 — Boring use of IP + Every day Updates

*2026-08-11*

Team needs to figure it out, every day is a sudden maintenance update. Add in something unique and worth doing

### 2/5 — Vibe Coded Mess

*2026-08-11*

Played since day 1 and after 2 consecutive updates that cause more glitches than it fixes and not getting sent any daily rewards for anything I deleted the game. So many better games than this. The time it makes you put in is not even worth. Do not waste money on this game!!! Really bad game that could have been good.

### 1/5 — The most tedious idle game i have ever played

*2026-08-11*

I played for almost a month and its really a waste of my time. They have managed to make everything so tedious to a point i feel like going to work doing dailies. There is every easy way thinkable to design an idle game but instead they will make you click on the blackwargreymon dungeon 60 time. What a joke. Be warned, this game is probably the most terrible and tedious game bandai has ever put out, Also cheaters but yeah bandai doesnt give two cents about it anyways.

### 3/5 — Maintenance too often

*2026-08-11*

I know the game is new but too many maintenance. The gameplay is ok.

### 2/5 — Uninspired; Many Issues;

*2026-08-11*

I have been playing the game since launch to give it a solid try. First, this game seems like a lazy cash grab. Every part of this game seems to come from recent popular idle games. The in-app purchase pricing does not align with the quality and size of the game, as it is very high for what this game is. The game also incorporates a lot of subscription based passes instead of permanent ones. Do you want x2 combat speed? Then pay us every month. Most mobile games of the past would not put ads on core game content. This game allows, but essentially requires, you to watch 2 ads a day for each dungeon you do unless you want to progress at half the rate. Currently, It is 10 ads a day just for dungeons alone. Don’t want to watch all those ads daily, plus the countless other ads you can watch? Pay the company close to $10 to remove ads. Thankfully, that pass is a permanent one. Although I believe that is the ONLY permanent pass. While many glitches have been patched, the game still crashes frequently. The app’s session cannot hit 1 hour for me, as it will crash before hitting 1 hour without fail. I would expect at least 2 crashes minimum an hour. I often notice my phone is getting very hot within 10-20 mins of play time. While i have been getting some enjoyment out of the game, it has far too many issues.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Always maintenance break

*2026-08-26*

This game always have maintenance break . no new contents and very boring.

### 1/5 — Stale gameplay

*2026-08-21*

The game is a nice novelty to kill time but ultimately overtime it becomes very stale and repetitive. You have so much free resources, but you can only use enough for one draw a day and that’s about it so you end up with a ton of the free resources and if you want additional draws, you have to pay money. Not to mention, you will never run out of tickets for equipment draws, and it takes forever to go through them. After a while, you will hit a time based wall that prevents you from doing any other missions because you have to wait for reset on dungeon tickets and it’s an endless cycle of the same missions over and over and over Again. Game doesn’t really respect your time with any kind of new content. There really isn’t diversity when it comes to teambuilding. Partner Digimon doesn’t mean much because once you hit level 99 you can just raise another one, but it doesn’t change your stats. This game almost has no point to really play for a long period of time. I’ve been playing for about three weeks now and it’s the same thing every single day. The events don’t really do anything with the gameplay and just has random mini games for you to earn more resources that you won’t ever run through. Even leaving my game open all night long. I still don’t run out of tickets. I will probably uninstall now that I’ve given this a few weeks. I don’t recommend anyone pick this up because it doesn’t really have any kind of customization when it comes to the teams. This game had a lot of potential but unfortunately there really isn’t any diversity when it comes to the content. I also feel like the game is always having random maintenance, but there really isn’t anything new that comes out afterwards.

### 1/5 — Vide

*2026-08-19*

### 1/5 — Just look at Digimon pictures instead

*2026-08-15*

The only thing people in game talk about enjoying is the character sprites, and even many of those are dull and silly. This game has no effort put into balancing, tutorials, pacing, atmosphere, story, upkeep. The only effort I can earnestly give them credit for is fixing game breaking bugs that they released the game with. And even then, to fix them they take down the servers and make you unable to even play the game for hours at random times. The game is based on a system where you need to do daily activities in order to keep up with the crowd and if you miss out, you are permanently behind. The developers know that no matter how poor this game plays, they will make tons of money from all the people who gamble their money or their parents money away. I am an idiot that spent around $30 and way too much dedicated time on this game and I regret every bit. Deleting this app is like cutting a toxic friend out of your life, it’s nothing but relief.

### 1/5 — Not much of a game

*2026-08-15*

AFK game, animations are good but there’s no substance or gameplay whatsoever. A major disappointment for Digimon fans.

### 1/5 — iOS vs android

*2026-08-14*

The over compensation for android and lack of fairness made me quit

### 1/5 — Miserable to play

*2026-08-14*

The biggest issue: This game has gone down for maintenance about every other night for a week because of massive, game-breaking issues that are introduced every maintenance. The PVP system (which is already broken beyond belief) now heavily favors the players who were locked out for a full day (due to a major bug introduced during maintenance) because they were compensated an insane number of rewards during a subsequent maintenance by accident, allowing them to rocket ahead of other players on their server. Yet another maintenance is scheduled for several days from now (why do we need maintenance for compensation? your guess is as good as mine) to compensate the other players in order to make up the difference. (Edit: They messed up the compensation and distributed it exclusively to people who were already unfairly compensated, leaving iOS users with nothing once again. This comes after a 4 hour extended maintenance. We are over a week behind other players in terms of progress now. If I could leave zero stars, I would.)

Aside from the horrible technical management of the game, this game just isn’t fun to play. It’s an idle game that you have to babysit for upwards of 8 hours a day just to make minimal progress towards goals that demand an insane amount of progress. The tamer rank goals also require you to use a massive amount of the resources that are awarded daily, so while you wait weeks to raise your tamer rank, you’re better off saving those resources for the next tamer rank instead of spending them and making any progress in the game. The exploration minigame is tedious and buggy. Most of the game in general is tedious and buggy.

I wanted to like this game, and in general I do like these kinds of games, but I’ll be telling my friends to avoid this one. I’d be embarrassed to release a game in this state, and I’d be even more embarrassed to repeatedly fail to address its myriad issues despite taking it down for maintenance (for several hours at a time!) more times than I can count since its release. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

### 1/5 — Digimon deserves considerably better than this.

*2026-08-14*

I paid for the ad removal in DIGIMON UP, and I regret giving this game money.

Calling DIGIMON UP a “Monster-raising RPG” feels incredibly generous. Your Digimon often feel less like creatures you’re actually raising and more like attractive Digimon skins attached to a progression spreadsheet. Combat is largely automated. PvP is automated. Progress is buried under currencies, timers, tickets, passes, daily limits and arbitrary unlock requirements. Even systems that seem perfectly suited to an idle game frequently require you to come back and babysit them.

Then there are the ads.

I actually PAID to remove them, which makes what has happened since launch considerably harder to swallow. The permanent ad removal purchase isn’t even properly account wide across servers. If you discover that the game placed you on a different server from your friends and want to play with them, you can be faced with starting over, losing your progress and purchasing the ad removal AGAIN.

That’s an astonishingly consumer hostile implementation of something sold as a permanent convenience purchase.

But the recent compensation disaster is what finally pushed this from “bad mobile game” into “why am I supporting this?”

Players have been dealing with login problems, emergency maintenance and other technical failures that prevented them from accessing a game built around daily progression and limited attempts. Missing a day isn’t insignificant when the entire economy revolves around daily resources, dungeon attempts, PvP attempts, summons, timers and ranking progression.

Bandai Namco’s solution should have been simple: determine what affected players reasonably lost and compensate them consistently.

Instead, players are receiving dramatically different compensation. Some received enormous quantities of resources and tickets. Some received substantially less. Some (Including myself) received nothing. Players who were competitive with each other before the incident are now reporting huge progression and ranking differences because one account received compensation that another didn’t.

Think about how absurd that is.

The compensation for an unfair disruption has itself created another unfair disruption.

In a competitive game, accidentally dumping piles of progression resources and PvP attempts into some accounts while leaving comparable players without them isn’t just a customer-service mistake. It damages the integrity of the progression system. You cannot sell players progression, operate leaderboards, prevent some players from participating because your software broke, and then hand unequal amounts of progression to different players and pretend everything is square.

And this is happening barely a month after launch.

DIGIMON UP already has shallow gameplay, aggressive monetization, an exhausting number of currencies and passes, questionable server restrictions, bugs, repeated maintenance problems and one of the strangest implementations of an “idle” game I’ve encountered.

Now even the COMPENSATION apparently needs compensation.

I paid to remove the ads because I thought there was enough here to stick with the game and support it. Watching how the game and its paying players have been handled since then has convinced me otherwise.

Digimon deserves better.

More importantly, paying customers deserve better.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Exactly What It Needs To Be

*2026-08-27*

This game does not deserve to be review Bombed! Stop it.

It’s a great Idle game with a blast of nostalgia. Awesome “buddy” characters and fun upgrade progression. Also, The devs have been doing a good job with bug fixes as well as new features.

4.7 stars out of 5.

### 5/5 — Hope to see more improvements

*2026-08-26*

The concept is 10/10 but it’s a bit lackluster still fun though

*2026-08-15*

### 5/5 — Best idle game I’ve ever played!

*2026-08-12*

I love this game! I love how you can pick from a whole bunch of digimon to be your partner, the battle system isn’t too bad, and the game can actually play itself to where I can put my phone down and let it go.
However, I would like it if the mini games had the “how to play” somewhere. I have no idea what to do for one mini game and I know I was told, but the text goes by so fast and I didn’t retain the information 😅. So a refresher would be nice.
Also I unlocked a digivice shell from the camp and it’s just orange. Nothing wrong with orange, I was just hoping I could change the color. We can pick the internal parts colors, but we can’t pick the shell’s color? I would really like a purple digivice 😅.
I feel like I’m nitpicking, but overall I do love this game.

### 5/5 — Is game

*2026-08-10*

Game adds show exactly what is in the game, which is rare in this day and age of click bait adds.
It is an idle game mainly but has lots of extra features, PvP , dungeons, summon features, digimeat farm and honestly more.
I will say my only semi grip with the game is the holo tickets add up FAST in the later stages and unless you run it nearly constantly you’re going to be drowning in tickets. And that can be taken as a good and bad thing.

### 5/5 — Rats

*2026-08-08*

Rats 10/10 cheese , would recommend

### 5/5 — Pretty good Idle game

*2026-08-08*

Have only played a few idle games but this is the only one I’ve been able to go back to daily and still enjoy it. Would appreciate less focus on monetizing and offering a F2P alternative to the gatcha system other than the one time daily draws. But other than that im excited to see what is added in the future. My main expectation’s is more late game content, expanded camp system with things such as camp wars and more social options to give the camp system some more fluff, and continuous expansion to Digimon and customization. Aslong as those points are acknowledged and added upon i feel as though this game can become a staple in the idle community and be appreciated by every digimon fan.

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2026-08-07, version 1.2.2*

Its a fun hop in hope out idel game wargraymon is the best
