We’ve had lots of glitching and getting kicked out mid orders. This happened again this morning and resulted in a duplicate order being placed since it kicked me out in the middle of placing an order with Venmo and it still went through but didn’t show up for awhile. So a second order was made thinking it failed before processing. Now there are two identical orders and the customer was charged twice with no way for me as the sales mom to cancel the duplicate order. GET SOME SUPPORT AVAILABLE!! ### 3/5 — Remove the Blue button! *2026-03-11, version 4.3.11* The blue button “+New Cookie Order” on the troop order side is the worst spot for that. It needs a new location that isn’t right next to the “Start My Booth Sales” it has been an issue for, no exaggeration, everyone doing the ebudde accounting. Also add in a apple/google pay tap feature please. It’s been great with Venmo added! ### 3/5 — App good, offline orders bad *2026-03-11, version 4.3.11* The app works fine but adding the cash button this year for tracking took away the option to add cookies sold at booths and elsewhere. There is NO place externally where the girls or customers to see how well they are doing. Silly to tell someone you made your goal and show 50%. However, being only able to see the summary after a sale is made and no way to get back to that screen is dumb. The developers need to spend a month having to deal with this in the real world while also dealing with customers, cookies and trying to watch kids in a parking lot. It’s locked me out of my account after I was required To reset my password multiple times and each time I did I was told it’s the incorrect password. It wasn’t. It has locked me out twice now and now they froze my account. Way to go GS. I really like seeing my daughter’s total amount in one place so we can better track for her goal. Will this feature be back? I don’t see an option to be able to record cash payments. Same problems every year. You’d think Girl Scouts would have an interest in getting their app to work so they can make credit card sales but for some reason the app only works half the time. We lost a sale today because the app refused to open, after it had just been used a few minutes before. Also, why do I have to constantly select the booth that I’m selling at. Why can’t I log in at a booth and continue to make charges at that booth? I’m not able to be in 2 places at once so I wouldn’t be able to sell cookies at once, so why do I have to keep telling the app where I am? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The Worst App *2026-03-07, version 4.3.10* This is the worst app I’ve ever used in my life. This app constantly crashes does not allow you to login or doesn’t except your password. We actually haven’t been able to get it to work even one time and I see from the reviews most of these problems existed eight years ago and still they haven’t been solved. The Girl Scouts sell $800 million-$1 billion of revenue each year and they can’t even get a decent application. I have been locked out SEVERAL Times. I have to reset my password every time! It’s not just me other moms have had the same issue. For years, we sold cookies, face-to-face, with cash or check. Presales from individuals were fine, but using it at booths has been terrible. The credit card OCR scanner doesn’t work well, not all our booths load each day, we keep getting completely kicked out of the app repeatedly in the middle of a sale, and the sales report not only provides a giant undifferentiated list of transactions with no booth locations, they’re in the wrong time zone. Girl Scouts of the USA needs to start over with this one. It doesn’t even communicate correctly with our baker’s platform eBudde. ### 1/5 — Constantly logging out *2026-02-25, version 4.3.10* “Keep me logged in for 12 hours” does not work at all. Constantly needs to be logged back in and also doesn’t store login information so the process is tedious. There is so little security danger here, please make the login process easier and less repetitive. This app is less functional every year. Girl Scouts needs to invest in its app and web design and stop making girls and volunteers deal with one broken system after another! PS for the love, let people highlight phone numbers and copy them to text to coordinate pickup. I continue to have issues getting into the app and getting sales set up. I had this problem the year prior and it’s the reason I don’t even bother with digital cookie. This is my first year as a Cookie Mom and I’m very satisfied with it. It’s very easy to use. The only things I wish it could do that it can’t is generate full sales reports and update Cookie Sites. You have to log in on a web browser to do those two things. And that truly doesn’t bother me. I love the Venmo and PayPal are now an option. Already tried it out on a few orders and worked well. ### 5/5 — Lots of issues *2025-03-06, version 4.3.4* The app works great if someone is doing a preorder with a credit card. If they are paying with Venmo or cash on a preorder, it’s annoying. I have to go on my daughter’s actual website and put in the order myself as if I’m the person ordering to take any Venmo payments. On my phone, it logs me in to MY Venmo when I click pay with Venmo and so I have to pay it myself, then have the people Venmo me. I would suggest making sure this doesn’t happen to the app developers. There is no way to mark a cash order on here. Also an issue from my point of view, because it would be much easier to have everything in one place. When taking orders with cookies in hand, there is also no way to record cash payments. So again, I have to Venmo girls scouts myself to record the cash payments. If I click “new cookie order” and that we will deliver later, the ONLY option is a credit card and I don’t understand why?? Most people we’ve sold to prefer to pay with Venmo. So then I have to go on the actual website, instead of the app, pay with MY Venmo, then collect payment from the person. This is just way too many steps and gets really complicated. There has to be a better way to do this. ### 5/5 — Great app! *2025-03-01, version 4.3.4* As a Girl Scout this app is really helpful! It helps when we have online orders. If people don’t have cash it really helpful to get there orders in.
