Digital Decks turns a shoebox of trading cards into something your kids can actually use. Point the camera at a card and Digital Decks reads the small collector number printed in the corner, then tells you what the card is, how rare it is, and roughly what it's worth. Recognition runs entirely on the device - no photo is ever saved or uploaded. BUILT FOR YOUNG COLLECTORS AND DECK BUILDERS - Big buttons, plain words, and read-aloud for children who can't read yet - A separate profile for each child, so nobody can change anybody else's cards - No ads, no accounts, no tracking, nothing collected BUILDS REAL DECKS Most scanners stop at "what's it worth". Digital Decks goes further. Pick one or two types and it assembles the best legal deck it can from the cards your child actually owns - keeping evolution lines together, matching energy to attack costs, and rating it out of five stars. Then it explains, in plain language, exactly which cards would make it better. All card names and artwork belong to their respective owners. ## Version history (last 4 releases) ### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-22 Much better decks - and the app now teaches you how to play them. SMARTER DECK BUILDING - Support cards are chosen by what they do, not just by which one was scanned first. A deck now keeps room for search cards, Rare Candy and a Stadium instead of filling up with draw cards. - Stadium cards and Pokemon Tools are recognised properly and can make the deck. - Only one Supporter can be played per turn, so decks no longer stuff in more than you could ever use. - When two cards do the same job, the stronger one gets the slot. LEARN AS YOU BUILD The deck now explains how to actually play it, and only ever mentions cards that are really in your deck: - How to open: which Pokemon to put down first and when to evolve. - What Rare Candy is for - it lets a Basic Pokemon jump straight to a Stage 2, so your biggest attacker arrives a whole turn sooner. Most kids never find this out on their own. - That you may only play one Supporter each turn, so save it for when your hand runs low. - That Items have no limit, so you can play as many as you like to dig out what you need. - That only one Stadium can be in play, and yours removes your opponent's. If your deck has a Stage 2 Pokemon but no Rare Candy, it now tells you to look for one and adds it to your wishlist. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-21 Better decks, and an easier library. DECKS - Cards that can't actually be played are no longer put in a deck. A Stage 1 or Stage 2 Pokemon needs the card it evolves from, and if you don't have it, the deck now tells you which card to look for instead of quietly including one you can't use. - Deck tips now talk about the cards that are really in the deck. If a card is already committed to another deck, it won't be chosen as the one your deck is built around. - A deck that isn't a full 60 cards is no longer described as strong. - The option for sharing cards between decks is clearer: "Use each card in only one deck". LIBRARY - Search your collection by name. Start typing and the grid narrows to that card - accents don't matter, so "flabebe" finds Flabebe. - Press and hold any card to add a copy, remove a copy, or take it out, without opening it first. SCANNING - Fixes a problem that could put cards you don't own into your collection. When a card was hard to read, the camera sometimes misread its number several ways in a row, and each misreading matched a real card. The app now takes back every wrong card rather than just the last one, and keeps watching for longer. - A card is only ever removed this way if its own name was never read from the card, so a card you genuinely own and scanned properly is never touched. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-15 Fixes and improvements for young collectors: - Scanning one card no longer adds it twice. The camera sometimes read the same printed number two different ways (95 and 095) and filed the card again; it now recognises those as one card. - Filter your library by value.
