Pull it out after a while and newer phone. “Digital link not supported.” Chrono works fine. Need an update that supports Bluetooth ### 3/5 — Works good but *2025-12-14* Works good but i need a way to print the report from my iphone without saving it and sending to a PC. Going from an apple product to a windows pc is a pain at best. ### 3/5 — Great but needs an update *2024-11-08* This app for the chronograph works great and I like everything it does, but since the latest iPhone update, it will no longer connect and said Bluetooth is not supported anymore. Backups from old version import fine. Only can export PDF which is useless because it isnt data. I’ve saved a ton of group images and now the only option is to “Remove” or “Choose” a new image. I bought Bluetooth Chronograph for the stats. Mostly failure. I got voice function to work on phone, but no stats. Then I tried my iPad with latest OS. It seemed to work. I can export data via email. The only thing left to test is backups. I hope Competition Electronics can get phone app working again. If iPad didn’t work I may have sent chrono back. Bluetooth needs to actually in work modern electronics in these modern times, not just lip service. I would work on fixing phone next. Remember there will be new OS’es across the board in Fall of 2022. ### 2/5 — Dated *2022-01-30, version 1.7.2* Very basic. Not much has been added in the 6 years I’ve been using. Be nice to at least have folders for load development. I can select a shot list or duplicate a shot list, and when I tap the Edit button, nothing happens. Before I updated the app, everything worked fine, now the Edit button doesn't work. The backup file is corrupt and can't restore it to on different device. I used to use this to import to my PC app. If moving too fast in edit mode, the photo doesn't save. Again, moving too fast in edit mode can cause the temp values not to filled in. If temp values are missing the CSV file will not import to Gordon's Reloading Tool (GRT). If your lucky to have this stay app to stay connected the chrony may register 5 shots in a row before erroring (let alone the app recording the shots) for the next dozen shots (not exaggerating). Following the instruction manual for lighting conditions, laughable... these chronograph's are simply unreliable. Like I earlier here, there will not be a fourth. ### 1/5 — Not working iPhone 13 Pro Max iOS 15 *2021-10-16* I bought this chrono specifically for the app functionality. It worked fine last year with my iPhone 12 Pro Max but won’t connect to Bluetooth anymore on new phone. Great design. Easy to use and take notes with. Great calculations. So far, after about 150 shots, it has called every one of them! ### 5/5 — What a shooter needs! *2024-01-27* I do a lot of load development and a good chronograph needs good software, this app is excellent. It allows not only Bluetooth recording of chronograph results, but logging of load data for future analysis. User interface is friendly and functional. I just got my ProChrono DLX bluetooth version (obviously) and put 8 .25 caliber pellets through it without a glitch. Great readout with large numbers on both my phone and my Macbook Pro. The app is easy to navigate and gives you all the info any serious shooter needs regarding projectile velocities (fps) and foot pounds of energy (fpe). Lots of good stuff to know when modifiying any firearm or air rifle. ### 5/5 — Fixed iOS 16 export bug *2022-11-07, version 1.7.6* iOS 16 introduced two bugs. Export summary (pdf) of multiple strings crashed. Voice readings stopped working. Only the Millibars for atmospheric pressure were missing but now it has been added. Useful to be able to choose the various measurement options keeping in mind that both speed options are needed.
