The old way of sitting down with someone and paying a fortune is out of date. Not to mention, it doesn’t capture your entire digital footprint, leaving those left behind to struggle with how to identify and access all your digital assets. Digital Will not only solves that problem but does it elegantly in the same way we are used to living our daily lives on Facebook. Life happens in real time and my life circumstances have dramatically changed since then..including more family members, more assets etc. It’s finally time to take the reigns myself and Digital Will allows me to do that not only for my traditional assets but also my digital like NFTs, Crypto and so on. I love the feature where I can store all of my passwords to my accounts all over the web as well. Extremely simple and intuitive platform that makes the hassle of getting a lawyer and going through a long, expensive process very very easy. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scam app *2024-05-03, version 2.16* This is a scam app that won’t let you delete they take your beneficiary money and yours beware ### 1/5 — Worthless *2024-04-06, version 2.16* The “target audience“ for this piece of dreck must be very different than me, for I cannot conceive of so many people giving DigitalWill such ecstatic reviews!!! I am seventy years old, I’m long overdue to make out my will, and like most seventy-year-old people nowadays I’m lacking in funds to hire an expensive lawyer just to grease the wheels for me. DigitalWill is badly designed, badly executed, and it makes false generalizations about my needs for this program. I started by deciding on my executor, seven beneficiaries and their bequests. After much trial and error I got my executor’s name and e-mail address entered, whereupon it refused to proceed until I sent him an “invitation”. Fortunately my executor knew he was going to be my executor, because he immediately got a message from DigitalWill informing me of his status as my executor and saying he would see the finished will only after I died. (I never did get to the point where I would find out how DigitalWill would figure out I was dead …) It then followed up with a demand for him to submit a review of the program … the same program that had just refused to show him anything!!! Things got even more hilarious when I started entering the names of the beneficiaries. After the first name and e-mail I entered, there was a button labeled Add Next Beneficiary. This button DIDN’T WORK!!! After fifteen minutes of trial and error, I figured out a kludge to get my next beneficiary entered. Three beneficiaries later the kludge stopped working and I was left with four beneficiaries entered out of seven. At this point I started screaming and hitting buttons at random … ending with the button to send an “invitation” to Beneficiary #4. I immediately deleted Beneficiary #4, I have no idea what if anything he got in his e-mail. So, why didn’t I call Customer Support? You must be joking, DigitalWill offering Customer Support by phone to its seventy-year-old target audience? THERE. IS. NO. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. WHAT. SO. EVER!!!! Not even one of those oh-so-useful FAQ pages with insightful questions like “how does this program work?” (Answer: it doesn’t) There is only one good thing to come out of this: it forced me to start thinking about what I want to have in my will, I now have a list of beneficiaries and their bequests, and detailed plans for my burial and memorial service. So now I get to skip a few meals so I can save my Social Security funds to hire a lawyer. Thanks, Digital Will! ### 1/5 — $$$ *2024-02-23, version 2.16* In app purchases are not shown. What am I paying for? ### 1/5 — Terrible *2024-02-10, version 2.16* Not at all intuitive. Does not use contacts on my phone requiring you to have to jump between contacts to add individuals. Has some silly protocols as well, and most importantly, it creates an email address for you upon registering that cannot be changed unless you use a code they send you to this email. Seems like a scam. You can’t delete the account without access to this email account they create which you can’t access so there is no way to delete your account. As we are all shifting to digital medias in our daily life, no one is thinking about what happens to them after your demise. How your family will know what you have and how to access it. One can be locked from paying for things that run your life.
