Also when i add pdfs that i converted from a photo the score glitches, zooms in when opening the pdf and does not let me view the entire score. Just a zoomed in version of it. However, please stop implementing AI features. I don’t need an AI summary of the pieces in my playlists, and I especially don’t need random words and letters highlighted on my pages! At the very least please make it optional in settings. It’s distracting on the page and confusing. Not to mention, offensive to use AI on an app targeted towards generally anti-AI artists (musicians). ### 2/5 — Use ForScore *2026-02-05* I think there’s a good reason I haven’t heard of this app. I’ve been using it for over a month, and there were things I liked about it, but it’s mostly super buggy and almost everything is locked behind a paywall. You can’t even do annotations without paying, which is literally the most basic feature of a sheet music app. The Pro version can be bought as a $35 one-time purchase but that doesn’t even include all the features that the Premium subscription does. Решил заняться сольной карьерой, обнаружил, что можно привязать аудио к партитуре, но так как музыкальный проигрыватель работает только на про-версии, то решил купить. И был неприятно удивлен: 1) Аудио автоматически не запускается при открытии нот, нигде нет настройки чтобы это включить 2) Не видит мои Airpods 3. При подключенных наушниках плеер отказывается работать. При отключенных очень тихо. Вывод, надо было пользоваться бесплатной версией и не тратить деньги. Despite some irritations, most of them unintuitive things you can’t turn off, it works well. The Mac version is a trainwreck - especially the partifi interface, which is about the only reason to use it on a Mac. I’ve sent emails along for tech support a few times, never receiving even a cursory acknowledgment of the note. Once my subscription is up, I’ll be going with ForScore - at least they reply to email, and update functionality meaningfully. ### 2/5 — Bien, mais plein de bogues *2025-01-21* L’application offre une belle interface, pas trop compliquée. On ne nous embête pas avec la version « premium » (certaines fonctions avancées sont bloquées, mais le reste de l’app n’essaie pas de nous convaincre de prendre un abonnement) et ça je l’apprécie beaucoup. Par contre, l’app ne fonctionne tout simplement pas très bien. J’ai essayé d’importer un seul document PDF et j’ai dû essayer 2-3 méthodes différentes pour finalement réussir à avoir une partition que l’app a renommé « droppedScore » que je n’ai pas réussi à renommer. Même ouvrir un document prend beaucoup trop de temps. L’app a besoin de travail. ### 2/5 — Good product but no cust. Their website says “you’re welcome to email us” and then doesn’t t give an email address anywhere. I had a fully marked director’s score with audio perfectly placed for my upcoming musical. All of a sudden for no reason, the app bricked. I force quit, turned my iPad on/off, updated everything. I even went as far as to delete the app all together. When I redownloaded it, my scores were gone and the app was still frozen. I’m gutted. I’ve emailed customer service twice and both emails bounced back. It is easy to set up, intuitive in use, and works seamlessly with my pedal page turner. I’ve got about 150 songs between three bands; documents are easy to manage and use. Why write a review now? I experienced an issue yesterday with viewed page size and nothing would fix it. I contacted support expecting to wait for a week or so, but they replied in a matter of hours and provided a fix this morning. Je voulais lire des partitions sur téléphone pour jouer du souba dans ma fanfare, ca fonctionne exactement comme je le voudrais et il y a sûrement encore pleins de petites fonctionnalités que je ne connais pas encore. Petites suggestions : - le défilement par morceau (avec 1 clic sur le côté droit ou gauche de l’écran) pourrait avancer un peut peu moins, car quand le bas de la page coupe une portée, celle-ci est aussi coupée après avoir défilé d’un cran, et c’est assez agaçant. - quand on est sur une partition et qu’on veut revenir au répertoire pour consulter une autre partition, le bouton de retour en arrière est un peu petit ### 5/5 — Für mich momentan die beste Noten App *2026-04-09* Ich habe die App seit kurzer Zeit und bin sehr zufrieden. Nutze sie vor allem zum täglichen Üben am Klavier. Finde total motivierend, dass sie mir genau zeigt, wie viel Zeit ich mit welchem Stück verbringe und so meinen Fortschritt sichtbar macht. Ich markiere auch gerne die Passagen, die ich in den nächsten Sessions noch genauer üben muss. Dies ist jedoch noch nicht auf Klaviernoten optimiert (markiert nicht Violin- und/oder Bassschlüssel). Dies könnte meiner Meinung nach noch für Klaviernoten optimiert werden. Ebenso würde ich gerne auch mit ausgewählter Stiftfunktion mit Gesichtsgesten umblättern. Evtl. ist es auch möglich nicht nur Ordner sondern auch einzelne PDF Dateien zu importierten, die Möglichkeit habe ich aber bisher noch nicht gefunden. Insgesamt aber eine sehr funktionale und motivierende App. Und ich hatte bisher keine technischen Probleme. ### 5/5 — Excelente app, mejorar el modo horizontal (Landscape) de lectura *2026-02-22* Cuando uso el iPad en modo horizontal (landscape) cuando no tengo un atril o lo uso en una mesa, la pagina se desliza hasta el final, al usar el gesto con un dedo, creo que falta mejorar eso, porque así no deja ver el medio de la pagina, tengo usar el gesto de dos dedos, que es para ajustar la pagina, que es mas demorado, creo que eso debería mejorar, algo así como deslizar en un pdf, de poder deslizar hacia abajo dentro de la pagina cuando el iPad esta en modo horizontal, por el resto es una excelente aplicación, la uso todos los días, es bien completa, y su diseño es bueno. ### 5/5 — Best music reader! *2026-01-28* The very minute I was writing an angry review, the app updated to fix a major freezing problem after the latest iOS update. Thank you! I was having to use other music reading apps in the interim and I was not happy because this one is so much better! I also discovered that I had set up automatic iCloud backup in my iCloud folder and I’m so glad because I didn’t want to lose everything. So if you had the problem I had, look there. I was intending to give 5-stars, by selecting one at a time, but after selecting the first star, my review immediately finalized as a 1-star review. That should be fixed to avoid such confusion. I did it over again, after that, by selecting the 5th star first, and my intended 5-star rating went though. I really like DigitalScore. I've used Forscore extensively. And while it has great features, I've found the interface often clumsy, not intuitive. For example, extra steps often needed to maneuver between setlists, tags, librairies, etc. Feels like guess work. That's why I've switched to DS, which I found quite user friendly, intuitive, very straight-forward interface. So, don't be fooled by what now appears as low ratings. Great app. I just wish they would offer a "replace" and "overright" feature (like FS), for importing the same song more than once, instead of automatcialy creating an extension.
