## What is DIGS?

You run a small interior design studio. A client shows up with an empty room, a budget, a style they can't quite put into words and a short list of things they won't live without. You get the floor plan, a catalog of furniture, floors and paint, and as long as you like to make it work.

First, pick who runs the studio: one of nine designers, Ciana among them, under any name you like. The name goes on the door.

Then the client messages you.

Sometimes it's a question about which way the sofa should face. Sometimes the budget gets cut, or a mother-in-law is moving in and needs a bed by the weekend. How you answer matters as much as what you place, and a badly read client will say so in the review.

When you hand the room over, you watch it go from empty to finished, the client tells you what they think, and the stars land. Every room gets one to three, and the score card shows where each point came from. Did you cover the brief? Stay on budget? Does the room work, and does it look lived in? Two stars gets you to the next client. Three takes a bit of taste.

Later on, the clients bring whole houses.

WHAT'S IN IT
• Nine chapters: sixty single rooms, twenty-two return visits from old clients, then fourteen houses with fifty-seven rooms between them.
• Bathrooms, dining rooms, hallways, nurseries and utility rooms, each with its own rules.
• Knock down a wall, push a room out, or add a skylight or French doors. Undo is free until you hand the room over.
• Thirty-five clients, each with a personality that changes how they score you.
• Over 1,000 pieces of furniture in sixteen styles (four in style packs), plus floors, paint, wallpaper and tiles. Search the catalog, or filter it by style, color, room or price.
• Colors and sizes. Recolor a sofa or make a table longer, paid from the room's budget.
• Optional bonus goals on every brief, like turning a piece to 45 degrees. Each one pays a few coins.
• A dollhouse view. Lift the roof off a room, or a whole house, and turn it around.
• A new client every day, a themed room every week with a piece of furniture to earn, and a streak that forgives a day off.
• Sixteen style collections to fill with free pieces, each with a wallpaper of its own.
• A designer rank that climbs with your stars, and a studio of your own that fills out as you rank up.
• Optional studio leaderboards for stars, the week's dailies and Challenge points.
• No clock in the career. Challenge mode is there for anyone who wants a timer.
• Creative Studio: no client, no budget, the whole catalog and a gallery for your favorites.

MAKE YOUR OWN DESIGNER
The creator builds a designer from scratch: skin tone, face, eyes, twenty-eight hairstyles in fifteen colors, beards, a hijab, a turban or a bucket hat, glasses, earrings, outfits and a background color. Try every option first. Saving your designer is a one-time purchase or 2,000 studio coins earned by playing.

HOME STUDIO
Design whole houses of your own in Creative Studio: five house plans and two big rooms, with walls to knock down, rooms to extend, and windows, skylights and French doors wherever you want the light. Try all of it for free. Saving them needs Home Studio, a one-time purchase or 6,000 studio coins earned by playing. Single rooms of every type stay free.

DESIGNER ATELIERS
Nine design houses invented for DIGS, with their own prints, pieces and wallpapers, for gems you also earn by playing. Each piece has a free twin with the same size, price and score.

NO ADS, NO ENERGY
Every room can be finished and three-starred without paying. No ads, no energy bars, no waiting. Every room you finish pays studio coins to spend on style packs, color collections, renovations and the occasional boost. If you'd like to support the game, one-time purchases are yours to keep.

DIGS started with Ciana, who rearranges furniture for fun, and was built by a very small team. If a client made you laugh or a rule made you yell at your phone, tell us. We read everything.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 2.2.3 — 2026-10-27

New in 2.2.3: budget talk in each client's own voice, and play tents.

• Clients sound more like themselves when a room goes over or under budget. Walter would like you to remember he's on a pension, and Priya can already smell the sunscreen.
• The four teepees are now play tents: Canvas, Striped, Floral and Jungle. Search "teepee" and you'll still find them.
• The Home Studio sheet scrolls on shorter screens, so the items in its list no longer run into each other.

### 2.2.2 — 2026-10-26

No release notes.
