## What is Digwick?

Every block hides something. Dig it up.

Digwick squeezes the tension of minesweeper, the loot hunger of a dungeon
crawler and the base-defense nerves of an RTS into one tiny isometric
world, built for one thumb.

DIG UP ITS SECRETS
Mine the frontier block by block. Safe blocks cascade open in waves;
others hide monsters that rise the moment you free them. Dig smart, or
dig up trouble.

NEVER LET THE FIRE GO OUT
By day the map is yours. At night, darkness rules: place torches, work in
the light, and defend your campfire. Zombies rise in packs, slime
monsters split when slain, and ghosts drift in from the fog, untouchable
until they cross into your light. If the fire dies, the run is over.

CRAFT YOUR WAY UP
Grass to fiber, dirt to torches, stone to steel. Craft pickaxes, swords,
chests and scaffolds; raise a workbench, a forge, a watchtower. Every
building matters, and everything you build can be attacked.

DESCEND THE DEPTHS
Somewhere on every map, glowing stairs lead down. Underground it is
always dark, the ores are richer, the monsters are meaner, and there is
always another floor.

Monster Update 1: something woke up under the blocks.

- Zombies rise in packs from the very first night
- The Slime Monster splits in two when slain
- Ghosts drift in from the fog. Lure them into the light!
- New loot: Cloth and Ectoplasm... the Altar will want these
- New hit effects: slashes, sparks, puffs and a tiny freeze on kills
- The Wooden Pickaxe is craftable; any pickaxe can strain-mine one tier up
- New Options menu; the minesweeper numbers are now optional (off by default)

More monsters are already stirring. Next up: the Forge Update.

Cozy Update 1: the same game, but it feels better everywhere

- Screen shake and juicy combat: monsters flash, flinch and get knocked back
- Cascade reveals now ripple across the map
- New animated torch, glowing stairs and tool art
- The forge finally glows, and every building can be repaired
- Freshly crafted weapons equip themselves
- Tap items to move them in and out of chests
- The glowing stairs now appear closer to your camp
