If you have been collecting comic books your whole life (like I have) you probably still do not know the extent and quality of Golden Age books. We have about 10,000 Golden Age books which we are adding to our On-Line Catalog (currently have over 7,800 in our catalog). Our Catalog has many gems from master comic book men like Jack Kirby, Joe Simon, Carmine Infantino, etc. We have amazing titles like Race to the Moon, Black Magic, Chamber of Chills, Frankenstein, Mr Magoo, Phantom Lady, Sheena, Terry and the Pirates, The Spirit, Tom Corbett Space Cadet, Web of Mystery, etc. We have great Dell TV comics like Beverly Hillbillies, Beany and Cecil, Car 54, Dr Kildare, McHales Navy, Sea Hunt, The Rifleman, The Untouchables, Voyage to the Deep, Wyatt Earp and many many more! Dime Comics App is both an On-Line Catalog of thousands of Golden Age Comics as well as a comic book reader for comics you download through the catalog. Like I was. ### 4/5 — Great value and fascinating content *2015-11-12, version 2.0* This app has a place in my heart as a labor of love for lesser known but cool old comics that need more attention (and happen to be in the public domain). Not all the titles would download and I got charged points for one or two books I never could open, but these are minor points compared to the pleasure recieved from day one. I know a lot about the most celebrated comics creators of the past 60 something years, and some of the stars are represented in this catalog. But also on display are a host of obscure but talented and inspired writers and artists. If I could change one thing it would be to be able to see creator credits, even if incomplete or speculative, before downloading each book. App contains thousands of obscure and hard to find titles, with new issues updated regularly. I hope the developers keep adding comics to the catalog. So far, I have seen them put out a few updates already. Really enjoy so far. ### 5/5 — Best Comic App for Golden Age or any Age *2014-04-16, version 1.3* Dime Comics is the perfect blend of ease of reading and acquiring content to enjoy. If you go all in for a few dollars you get a lifetime of amazing public domain comic books. I wrote the author about a couple suggestions and with this version he has implemented them! Portrait for seeing the whole page, landscape for immersive close-ups. Awesome. Great easy reading experience and the library keeps everything nice and tidy for you. One interesting feature is that you can drag the books out of Dime Comics to your computer desktop through iTunes. Yes these comics are public domain, but they are hard to find. This ability to do this is crazy generous! I've tried a great many comic book apps and none are nearly this slick in page turning, ease of getting comics, library function, and sheer enjoyment. There's lots in every genre imaginable, for kids, teens, adults, boys and girls. You can pay three bucks for a single new comic book or for about twice that price you can get thousands.
