## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.23 — 2026-08-25

Dimi 2.0.23 — What's New

Track your order without opening the app

Place an order and it appears on your Lock Screen, and in the Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro and later. It moves from Placed through Preparing to On its way as your order does, and tapping it opens the tracker. It keeps updating even when the app is closed.

Receipts that open

Tapping a receipt notification now opens the receipt itself rather than the list, including receipts sent to you by a shop. Every receipt carries a QR code back to the shop you bought from.

Better browsing

Products now carry Hot, Low Price and Dimi Choice labels, so you can see what's selling, what's keenly priced and what other shoppers rate highly. These are earned from real orders and reviews — they can't be bought.

Cheaper delivery on bigger baskets

Shops can set a basket size that earns reduced delivery.

For merchants

Payouts reach your bank automatically now, with no button to press, and Instant payout works against funds that haven't cleared yet. If money is waiting because payout setup isn't finished, the wallet tells you how much and how to claim it. The till can sell items that aren't in your inventory, applies your shelf pricing to them, and shows what a customer will pay while you type a price.

Fixes

"Exact" cash is no longer rejected as insufficient. A timed-out card sale replayed from the offline queue no longer records twice. Card setup problems now surface while you're setting up rather than with a customer's card already out. A till locked with the kiosk PIN can now be unlocked with it. Receipt printing no longer fails after the paper runs out, and the customer display clears properly after a tap-to-pay sale.

### 2.0.21 — 2026-08-14

Customer-facing:

- Order tracking rebuilt around animated stages — order placed, business accepted, finding courier, courier found, on the way, heading to the business, delivered. The old status banner was replaced with a standard order banner.
- Checkout no longer freezes on the "Preparing" screen when data loads in under three seconds. The spinner is now an animated basket scene, 30 percent smaller.
- Product-first browsing: Top picks for whole categories, curated collections, menu items inside the product grids, add-to-cart from grids.
- Item-level ratings — individual dishes and products carry their own stars.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay were broken in release builds. The test-environment flag followed __DEV__ instead of the Stripe key mode, so signed builds ran wallet payments against the wrong environment.
- Receipts render on Android as a PNG page instead of the unreliable Google Docs viewer.
- First-launch freeze fixed — the app drew but ignored all touches until you relaunched it.
- Saved cards validate ownership, and stale cards are pruned with a clean error instead of failing opaquely.

Merchant-facing:

- Self-delivery works end to end. Start Delivery works from ready-for-pickup, the merchant receives the delivery fee, the tracker stops showing a courier search, and the order card shows the customer address with tap-to-navigate.
- USB and HID barcode scanners add to cart from anywhere in the POS.
- Terminal card tap fixed — it was passing the wrong SDK parameter, and the terminal gate was reading a stale tier snapshot instead of rechecking device registration.
- Wallet bank withdrawals actually reach the server, with fees calculated server-side.

### 2.0.19 — 2026-07-23

Checkout now asks you to confirm a delivery address before an order can be placed, and shows exactly where the order is going.

Fixed a bug that could drop the street line from a delivery address, leaving couriers without the full address.

The selected tab in the bottom navigation bar is now green instead of black.

### 2.0.18 — 2026-07-21

Dott is now Dimi - new name and look across the app.

- Contacts now show when you last spoke with someone
- Tap the info icon in Calls to view a profile, start a chat, or see their business
- Choose add-ons and customizations when ordering, and they now reach the merchant
- Links you tap now open directly in the app
- Faster bank setup for payouts, with clearer status while it verifies
- Dark mode fixes across POS screens
- Various bug fixes and performance improvements

### 2.0.17 — 2026-07-15

- Dimi AI assistant goes live — a floating assistant and smart search, backed by Claude.
- Tablet kiosk mode hardened to match Sunmi terminals, with remote terminal management and a terminal-business selector for multi-business owners (shown in admin).
- POS polish: blue Charge button, product images that fit properly, decluttered action bar, more reliable Tap-to-Pay and boot handling.
- New look: frosted-glass floating nav bar and headers; My Wallet moved into the Me tab; dark-mode fixes on sign-in, OTP, and PIN screens.
- Discover: nearest-first results, filter chips, and a new Books category.
- Checkout: long-distance delivery band (10–40 km) and USPS pickup for shipping orders.
- New business types: Bookstore and Author, with book-specific product fields.
- Auth/registration: phones open freely with money protected by a PIN; US address/ZIP validation for tax accuracy.
- Compliance: in-app consent before contact sync (Apple 5.1.2); security dependency updates.
