The app is full of bugs and doesn’t provide a lot of useful information. I bought a device for my Toyota RAV4 and it only showed one single metric. Plus, it wouldn’t automatically turn on when I started my car so I had to unplug it and replug it back in to get it working. ### 2/5 — R1 *2026-03-06, version 1.49.0* When I got the device it said I had 2 years of free service. I was supposed to get service until December 2026. Now it shows that it’s off and I need to buy a subscription. I activated it December of last year 2025. And my macaroon says it hasn’t seen any activity for two weeks. I keep trying to put in a ticket but it says unable to submit form please try again later. ### 3/5 — I need my husband to have access to my car location *2025-11-17, version 1.45.0* I haven’t been able to add my husband to my account. With all the increasing events across the US I don’t feel safe going out with my daughter. I got this device mostly for my husband to be able to see my car location but I haven’t been able to add him??? It’s not as easy as I thought it’s been months. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2025-09-06, version 1.40.0* I got the app and I was able to connect it to my car computer and it worked for few months. Then eventually after update it no longer working with my car app. Now only option to connect is to buy their expensive device. So obviously they baited me and after few months just don’t give another option but to buy the device that is pretty expensive for what I does. The charges for the monthly service aren’t even worth the rewards you can earn. I had high hopes that they would provide me for the data that they were collecting and connecting to my Cybertruck. I’ll say it again. I had high hopes. Now they are gonna charge me to use their app? Instead of rewarding me for using my data? Am transferring the rest of my tokens off of DIMO and all I can say is good luck. I don’t even know why anybody would be using this app anymore. It’s a failed project. ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-08-06, version 1.39.1* Subscription feel now for the honor to sell your data and pay you in tokens. ### 1/5 — BAIT AND SWITCH - DECEPTIVE PRACTICES *2025-08-05, version 1.39.1* DO NOT sign up for DIMO, they actively advertised users to lock up their tokens as staking and after the fact changed their entire rewards program to a paid service. You don’t earn rewards unless you pay monthly. The earning potential is far less than the monthly cost as well (makes zero sense). Not to mention that they did not communicate the requirement of a paid subscription in order to maintain rewards before staking (the whole point of staking was a higher percentage of rewards earned, which you don’t get without paying). Discord admins are decent but customer service through email is a pain to deal with. App is updated frequently but performance is still sluggish on both iOS and android devices. App connection to the car says it hasn’t connected in day but also have the R1 device. It was not until 3 month later I found out my “trial a was ending” and I needed to pay $7ish a month to continue my subscription. This is a scam. In the 3 months I only made $15 in DYMO rewards. It pays out every week or two weeks too. YOU MOST LIKELY WILL NOT GET THE “estimated weekly earnings”. Requires paid sub. Bait switch!!!!!! Company has zero integrity. They know what they did. Promised rewards for staking and streak of data sharing then locked everything behind paid subscription after a few months. Remove this app from Apple Store it is a SCAM!!! ### 1/5 — Scam bait and switch tactics *2025-10-13, version 1.42.0* Do not download or buy their device. I first bought this thinking I can earn and use the device to check my car data but they have now cancelled the whole service and benefits. Paywalls for everything and makes your expensive device useless. No pressure to drive so many miles a week or so forth. Just atleast once a week. My other driving apps come with so many stipulations. This is by far my favorite one. Won’t go into detail as to how much I’ve made but easily has paid for itself and then some. Most of the time I forget all about it until I see the notification that another 186 Dimo just got sent to me.
