## What is DinkReel?

Turn your pickleball games into highlight reels — before you even leave the court.
Tap MARK on the best points and DinkReel clips each rally and stitches your highlights into one reel you can drop in the group chat on the spot. Everything runs on your phone: no upload, no account, no waiting.

New here? Tap "Try a demo game" on first launch to watch DinkReel find the rallies and build a reel from a real sample match — before you film anything.

HOW IT WORKS
• Prop your phone on a tripod and play
• Tap MARK on the cool shots while you play — or click a cheap Bluetooth remote or your volume button
• DinkReel hears the ball, so each marked point is cut from the serve to the last shot — no scrubbing
• Watch each point, then Accept, Reject, or fine-tune it with simple drag handles
• Previews show exactly what you'll share
• Build a one-tap highlight reel and send it to the group chat, TikTok, or Instagram
• Clips save to your Photos automatically

FREE
• Record & mark — tap, volume button, or any Bluetooth camera remote
• Automatic rally detection — every point found and trimmed for you
• Rallies you didn't mark, found and waiting under More points
• Trim, rename, and reorder your points
• Share individual clips (small watermark)
• Your first 3 highlight reels — free

DINKREEL PRO — buy once, keep it forever
• Unlimited one-tap highlight reels
• No watermark
• High-quality export
• Ball tracer — a glowing ring and a short trail follow the ball in your clips and reels
• GoPro mode — film on your GoPro (or any camera) and DinkReel syncs the video to your marks by sound
• Import a video — any game video becomes a new game, with its rallies found for you
• Mark by voice — shout "mark!" (beta)
• Score calls stamped on clips (beta)

Your first 3 highlight reels are free. After that, unlock DinkReel Pro with a single one-time purchase for unlimited reels — and it's yours for good, no subscription required.

Your videos never leave your phone. DinkReel processes everything on-device.

Built for the court: a dark, high-contrast design you can read in the sun.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-06

A new look: DinkReel is dark everywhere now, with big keys and clear type you can read on a sunny court.
Ball tracer, new in DinkReel Pro: your clips and reels draw a glowing ring on the ball and a short trail behind it. It's on by default; turn it off in Settings → Export & sharing → Ball tracer.
Every mark shows "Point captured", so you know it landed. The mark beep stays at the court: your clips and reels are silent where you marked.
Each marked point is cut from the serve to the last shot, read from the sound of the ball.
The new Cut Room: your list is your reel. Tap a point to watch it, then Accept, Reject or Edit. Rallies you didn't mark wait under More points.
Previews show what you'll share: the watermark, the point number and the tracer. Preview reel starts playing right away.
The watermark moved to the bottom-left corner, and a reel's point number to the bottom-right.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-26

GoPro mode, new in DinkReel Pro: film with your GoPro while your phone keeps the marks.
Start your GoPro, switch the camera screen to GoPro, and tap Record. The phone goes dark and records sound and your marks: click your remote (or a volume button) after the good points, and hold to stop.
Then tap Add GoPro video and pick the GoPro file from Photos or Files (every chapter, if it split). DinkReel syncs it to your marks by sound, and your clips and reels cut from the GoPro angle.
Filmed on your phone while a GoPro rolled? Open the game and tap More → Use GoPro footage. Stop using GoPro footage undoes it; your marks and edits stay.
Import a video, also Pro: bring in any game video and DinkReel finds the rallies.
