### 4/5 — Not enough dinosaurs

*2021-10-11, version 1.9.1*

I would give this a 5 star review but there is one major problem with this game and that is that it doesn’t have all the animals ever on the show and I want all of them

### 1/5 — Not a game

*2019-05-31, version 1.9.1*

I was under the impression it was a game for education, sorting, and more but it only tells you the names of dinosaurs.

### 1/5 — In-app purchase not working

*2018-11-20, version 1.9.1*

We purchased additional dinosaurs in the app. Every time my child closes the app the purchased dinosaurs disappear. Even when I do restore purchase and they show back up, they disappear when I go back to turn off access to the store.

### 2/5 — Should be free or $.99

*2018-06-29, version 1.9.1*

Not worth $2, it's cute and have a Dino for each letter in the alphabet, with a fact from each but that's all it has nothing more.

### 1/5 — Freezing up

*2018-01-08, version 1.9.1*

My son loves this app, but it freezes up constantly and he cries and cries. I ended up deleting the app because he got so frustrated. If they could fix that, I’d get it again.

### 3/5 — Sporadically closes and restarts

*2017-06-13, version 1.9*

The app has a glitch where it will just randomly close and restart. Very annoying.

### 3/5 — Not very good for reading.

*2017-05-04, version 1.9*

My son loves dinosaurs and it's ok to learn about different dinosaurs. However it's not effective for teaching letters and sounds (which is why I got it). Not a lot to do in the app either

### 1/5 — Only crashes

*2017-01-15, version 1.9*

So far cannot get this to open at all. Just crashes. Angry to pay $2 (really?!) for this garbage. Already annoyed about absurd in app purchase costs and initial cost. To have it not load as well adds insult to injury. Demanding a refund.

### 1/5 — Poor design and poor value

*2016-07-10, version 1.9*

Though our little one likes the show, there is very little to actually do in this app, and the extra $4.99 cost to access all the dinosaurs will annoy most parents. Some people might consider selling an educational dinosaur app that forces the user to pay extra to access show favorites like triceratops, tyrannosaurus, and stegosaurus as clever marketing; I consider it a rip off.

### 5/5 — Great encyclopedia & exploratory app!

*2015-10-25, version 1.9*

This app is a vibrant, fun and great exploratory experience. (If you’re expecting a game, this is not what you’re looking for.) My kid LOVES Dinosaur Train and has fun playing with all of the dinosaurs on their pages, and spelling things on the screen with Buddy. The Ultimate Dinosaur pack was well-worth the money as an in-app purchase.
