### 5/5 — Great way to meet interesting people

*2026-03-26*

Very smart idea. Send a drink to connect with others. It’s natural, elevated, and way more real than any other social app.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

*2026-03-25*

This app is such a refreshing take on social. Instead of endless scrolling, it actually encourages real-world connection in a simple, natural way.

### 5/5 — Amazing Networking!

*2026-03-25*

Finally something that doesn’t feel like a typical social app. The contacts sync is such a smart touch, and it actually helps you build connections from people you already know.

### 5/5 — This app changed how I meet people

*2026-03-25*

Dion is what social networking should have evolved into years ago. Instead of endless swiping, ghosting, and superficial interactions, everything here starts with a real gesture, sending someone a drink. It sounds simple, but it completely changes the dynamic. It makes the first move intentional, removes awkwardness, and actually leads to real conversations in real places.

The quality of people on the app is noticeably higher than anything else I’ve tried. It feels curated, not crowded. More like a private network than another mass-market app. Honestly, it makes platforms like Raya feel outdated. On Dion, you’re not just matching or messaging, you’re actually meeting.

What I love most is how seamlessly it connects online with real life. You can see where people are, send a drink, and actually show up and connect. The venues are top-tier, the experience is smooth, and it creates a social environment that feels natural and exciting again.

It’s also not just about dating. I’ve used it to meet new people, reconnect with friends, and even for networking. It works across everything because the concept is universal, buying someone a drink is the most natural way to start a connection.

This is one of the few apps that feels genuinely new. Not an iteration, but a new behavior. Once you use it, going back to traditional social apps feels passive and outdated.

Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Love this app!

### 5/5 — Great app for connecting

*2026-03-24*

Love the concept - it's simple but really well executed.
Sending a drink adds a layer of intention that most apps are missing right now.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-03-24*

Really well designed and the concept is strong. It’s rare to see an app that actually encourages real-world interaction in a seamless way.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-03-24*

Such a cool idea. It makes connecting feel less transactional and more human. Definitely stands out from typical social apps.

### 5/5 — Incredible and innovative

*2026-03-24*

I wasn’t expecting much but Dion surprised me. The venues and events are really well curated, and it makes deciding where to go so much easier. I've been to a tuna cutting event and an art gallery party and they were both fabulous, made lots of great connections and continued friendships.

### 5/5 — Highly recommend

I never download new apps but Dion has quickly become a staple. Makes meeting people feel easy, seamless. I’ve met some incredible people through the network which I feel grateful for. Feel like this is needed in current times to bring us together.

### 5/5 — My favorite way to meet cool people

Writing a review here for people to know this app is actually the best way to network.

I’ve met such intelligent / interesting people in different cities because of the network the app intentionally curates.

Def recommend!

Also I have been receiving delicious gifts from nice people and it’s so nice to connect with people in the app

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2026-03-23*

Dion is a game changer. Super intuitive, beautifully designed, and actually fun to use. It turns a simple gesture into a real connection, and the people on it make it even better. Easily one of the best social apps out there.

It is not just an app, but the strong platform to build the relationship.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — WARNING- Misleading $$ Trap

*2026-08-11*

I don’t typically write reviews but this app is misleading. Idea is to connect w others by paying for a drink for someone they have 48 hrs to accept and if not, you get a refund. Where this goes wrong is that the recipient can accept a drink WITHOUT YOU PRESENT. This defeats the purpose of genuinely trying to connect with others and IS NOT made clear. If you use this app to genuinely connect with someone and send them a drink, just know they can merely say thank you and never communicate or meet you.

### 1/5 — Nobody answers

*2026-04-14*

Nobody answers

### 1/5 — Still pending

*2026-03-04*

I have been pending for months and I reach out too.

### 1/5 — Application pending for months

*2026-03-02*

Is this a joke? My application has been pending since I downloaded the app months ago

### 1/5 — Very Sketchy app

*2026-02-07*

Definitely a scam

### 1/5 — this app is a joke

*2025-11-15*

They say they’re just being thorough with applications and double checking everyone, but I know several people who lied about their employment on their application and got in overnight. I’m still waiting on my acceptance and I was honest about what I do for work. It’s a waste of time for an exclusive club that I didn’t even need the app to get into. I’ve been to the parties, and they’re not even fun. Imagine a frat party for 30 year olds with some of the most unexciting, pretentious, and insufferable people to be around.

### 3/5 — Interesting idea, Flawed incentives

*2026-06-15*

The premise sounds innovative, but the incentive structure is flawed. One side spends money to initiate while the other side receives something of value regardless of whether they’re genuinely interested. After multiple interactions that ended soon after a drink was accepted, the experience felt more transactional than authentic. The app needs stronger safeguards to ensure users are actually interested in connecting rather than simply collecting perks.

### 4/5 — Great service but London is missing

*2026-01-09*

U should include a major city like London

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-07-24*

Friendly

### 5/5 — Exceptional app

*2026-07-07*

Then UI is serene, the users are stunning and entrepreneurial and long may it continue. What an exceptional chivalrous martini mixed with tech. I love it!

### 5/5 — Amazing connections

*2026-05-24*

Initially joined the community for networking within the music and entertainment spaces and have met some great people to collaborate with in those spaces but what I wasn't initially expecting was to be so pleasantly surprised by the dating aspect. Everyone is so intentional and dms go from treating to actually meeting in person so much quicker than other dating apps I've realized! Love overall!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2026-05-21*

This app is the new generation of social networking. I absolutely love how intentional it is and I have met so many quality people. You can tell they really curate the members and I also love the community aspect of it. So tired of just swiping endlessly on other apps like raya.

### 5/5 — Dion is great, easier than other dating apps.

*2026-05-20*

Honestly Dion has been such a better experience than other dating apps 😭 The people actually feel intentional and interesting instead of just endless mindless swiping. I’ve had way more genuine conversations on here and the quality of connections feels way higher than apps like Raya or Tinder. I love meeting people who actually want to connect, this is how dating apps are supposed to be.

### 5/5 — Love Dion

*2026-04-09*

Dion stands out from other platforms because the quality of people feels noticeably higher. It’s more intentional overall, especially with how it connects you through mutuals and shared circles, which makes interactions feel more genuine.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-03-27*

Incredibly innovative. Dion turns a simple drink into a real way to connect and network. It feels fresh, intentional, and far ahead of anything else out there.
