I reset my password constantly trying to log in on the app and it never works. If I go through safari, my password works. I just tried again 3 times, before writing this review, to reset my password and log in on the app, does not work. I frequently change store location depending on where I am in town. It would be a lot easier in the application to have a drop-down of the three closest locations to my location. Changing the location in the app as it is now is a little cumbersome. Just today I placed an order and thought I had changed the location but the order ended up at a different one. Had to drive across town to go get it. ### 3/5 — I LOVE DION’S! But I’d change one thing about the app. *2022-03-17, version 1.0.8* I want to use the online ordering, and generally it seems like a well thought out site/app…BUT there is one thing that makes it mostly useless for me. I need to order my subs with a “low carb wrap.” (I.e. lettuce wrap instead of bread.) But nowhere is there the ability to put that on my order. Ideally this would be located under the Bread Choice, but it only shows white or wheat. And there’s no place I can type in special instructions. I end up always needing to call in my order. Your app logs me out every time I try to use it, and I have to verify my credit card information every time I order. What is the point of saving the credit card information if I have to go get the stupid card every time? It prompts you to update it yet when you click 'update' it does nothing. I already checked the settings in my phone and it says that the app has permission to use my location and still doesn’t work. I literally can’t order anything from the app. I can order online and all of my other apps can find my location and I tried the suggestions from Google and it still doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Annoying *2025-02-16* There are reviews from several years ago that complain about the same things that are still annoyances today. The developer responses always say “we will look into it”, but nothing ever changes. The app still logs you out every time you want to use it, and it doesn’t recognize the password field as a password field, so you can’t autofill the password using Apple’s password app. This is because the app hasn’t been updated for years, and so it doesn’t use the latest features that Apple offers to developers to make users’ lives easier. And I understand that not every company wants to use Apple Pay, but making users enter credit card information every time is so annoying. These are easy fixes that Dion’s has been aware of for several years. What it boils down to is that Dion’s doesn’t want to pay a developer to improve their app. So their responses to all of these reviews don’t mean anything. Thanks, -Madi ### 1/5 — This app is pointless *2023-07-29, version 1.0.8* There are no additional features on this app that you can’t just do from the web browser. You download this app hoping to find some thing like easy way to edit payment history or seeing how busy a specific location is for pick up orders, but no. All your old cards that have expired no way to delete them or remove them they’re just there. When you live between two different locations and you want to see how busy one is versus the other for pick up orders there’s no easy way to see that either you have to change locations .Save the memory space and just order from the web browser. ### 1/5 — Wrong location *2021-12-29, version 1.0.7* I made an order for the location 5 minutes away from me and it somehow was sent to a location 30 minutes away from me. I then had to wait longer for the order to be fulfilled by the location it was supposed to be at. I won’t be using the app to order again. ### 1/5 — No options to customize menu items *2021-01-25, version 1.0.5* The only thing this app is good for is to order items straight off the menu. If that is something you usually do, please download the app! One of my favorite things about Dion’s is how it’s free/really easy to substitute toppings unfortunately, there is little/no way of customizing your pizza, subs or salads on this app or online. I always end up wasting a bunch of time trying to figure it out and end up calling anyways. So, just save yourself some time and don’t try to figure out the app and just call it in. ### 2/5 — Glitchy *2025-08-23, version 1.0.68* I have to restart the App five times each time I attempt a Favorite of Repeat order.
