## What is Diora?

Your collection has outgrown the spreadsheet. Diora is the record it deserves, and now a place to buy and sell with other collectors.

Diora is a collection tracker for serious rare plant collectors. Not a care app. Not a plant ID app. A tool for cataloging, photographing, and documenting the plants you actually own, with first-class support for lineage, breeding, and where each plant came from.

If you track your collection across spreadsheets, Notion docs, camera-roll chaos, and memory, this is built for the moment that stops scaling.

YOUR COLLECTION
- Catalog every plant with the detail collectors care about: genus, species, named clones, variegation, the traits that matter.
- Tie photos to plants. Build a visual record over time instead of burying shots in your camera roll.
- Record where each plant came from: the seller, the breeder, the original collection.
- Track lineage and breeding. Run breeding programs with seed parent and pollen parent records, not paper notes.
- Search your own collection. Find that variegated Philodendron from 2023 in seconds.

BUY AND SELL
- Open a shop, list plants, and set your own prices, shipping methods, and the countries you post to.
- Browse plants other collectors have for sale.
- Make an offer, or buy at the asking price.
- Sellers accept or decline offers themselves. Nothing is automatic.
- Diora is only the place the two of you meet. We never handle the money and take no commission.

A PLANT CARRIES ITS HISTORY
When a sale completes, the plant moves into the buyer's collection with its record intact. Its photos, its timeline, and its origin travel with it. A cutting sold in 2026 can still show where the mother plant came from, years and owners later. No other collection app does this.

THE GRAPEVINE
Connect with other collectors through your plants, on your terms. Post to the feed, offer pollen, ask the community to help identify something, and message people directly. Every plant you own is private until you decide otherwise.

BUILT FOR
All types of plants including aroids, anthuriums, monsteras, philodendrons, hoya, orchids, begonia, carnivorous, succulents, cacti, and all other plants. Growers with a dozen plants or several thousand. Anyone whose collection has become serious enough to deserve a real record.

### 5/5 — If you have a good amount of plants

*2026-08-20*

First off, I honestly didn’t have high expectations for this app. I decided to give it a try and started entering my plants one by one. After adding just a few, I quickly realized how helpful it actually is.

The app is easy to navigate, and it lets you enter most of the information you’d want to keep track of for each plant. One feature I’d love to see in the future is a built-in plant database that could automatically provide suggested care information, which users could then adjust based on their specific plant and growing environment.

I really hope the app stays free. Huge thanks to the developer for creating such a useful tool!

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-14

YOUR PHOTOS
- Write a caption when you add a photo, and edit it later if you want
- Captions follow the photo everywhere it appears, including the page you share with people outside Diora
- Add as many photos at once as you like, the old ten photo limit is gone
- Your private notes no longer appear on the page you share, only what you chose to publish

THE MARKETPLACE
- Filter the wall by as many plant types as you like, not one at a time
- Filters, sort and your preferences now live in one place instead of three
- Save any listing you want to come back to, and find them all in one place
- Plants you have already looked at move down the wall so new ones surface first
- Say which country you are in once, and the wall shows the shops that will post to you

PRICES
When a price is in a currency that is not your own, Diora now says which currency it is, so a price in US dollars is never mistaken for yours. We never convert a price and we never guess one. If we cannot tell what currency a shop quotes in, we show you no price at all rather than a wrong one. Choose the currency you read in under App settings.

ALSO NEW
- More shops to browse, including our first outside Australia
- Turn off notifications for likes on your posts, and keep the rest
- A shop that stops posting to your country drops off your wall on its own

Plus a long list of smaller fixes across photos, the plant grids, the marketplace wall, and the Grapevine.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-01

Diora now has a marketplace. You can sell plants from your collection, and buy from other collectors.

SELLING
- Open a shop with your own name, banner, and terms
- List a plant, set your price, and say which countries you post to
- Set your own shipping methods and fees, or offer local pickup
- Turn offers on or off, and accept or decline them yourself
- Share a link to your shop with anyone
- Show what you have recently sold, or keep it to yourself
- Pause your shop and your listings come off the marketplace until you are back

BUYING
- Browse plants other collectors have for sale
- Put several plants from one seller into a single order
- Buy at the asking price, or make an offer if the seller accepts them
- Save a delivery address for next time
- Your cart tells you if something has been sold or is no longer available
- See exactly where each order is up to, from cart through to delivery

AFTER THE SALE
When a sale completes, the plant moves into the buyer's collection with its history intact. Its photos, its timeline, and where it came from all travel with it, so a plant carries its story from one collector to the next.

Plants are posted to you by the collector who grew them. Diora is only the place the two of you meet: we never handle the money, and we take no commission. You and the seller arrange payment between yourselves.

ALSO NEW
- Messages, with your Purchases and Sales kept side by side
- Related plants always show a card now, even when the owner keeps the details private
- Notifications when someone makes an offer, moves an order along, or adds one of your plants to their wishlist
- Report or block from any plant, shop, or profile
- Terms, Privacy, and Contact support are all reachable from Settings
- A refreshed Diora mark and wordmark

Plus a long list of smaller fixes across delivery addresses, the plant grids, and the Grapevine.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-23

New in this version:

Dark mode. Choose Light, Dark, or System in Settings; every screen is themed.

Wishlist. Keep a list of the plants you're after, each with photos and its own privacy setting. Add to it straight from
another collector's plant page.

Mentions in Grapevine. Tag other growers with @username in replies, and get notified when someone tags you.

Plant notes now appear on the plant's page and can be edited right there.

Also improved:
- Timeline dates and times now use your local timezone.
- Cleaner detail and profile layouts, and a refreshed typeface.
- Fixed photos not loading when opening a post from a notification.
- Dark-mode polish throughout, plus Android photo-import fixes.
