Direct4.me is a new way of safe and contactless delivery of your packages. Through the mobile app it allows you to have a total control over your packages. Say goodbye to notices left on your door about unsuccessful delivery, chasing the courier or worse, waiting in line for your package at the Post office, and say hello to a solution that brings your online purchases straight to your door. Track the shipment When your package is routed to the smart parcel locker, you will be immediately notified when it’s available for pickup. Anyone can deliver to the smart locker at any time and you can pick it up whenever is best for you. Authorize a friend You can authorize your friend or family member to use your locker. Access can be granted as permanent, time limited or for a single package. This way, the package can be retrieved for you by your younger sister or your grandma Drop off your package Want to leave the notes for a school exam for your friend? Or maybe you engage in online trade? The smart locker can be used as contactless pickup point. Create a new shipment, describe the content, enter the mobile number of the recipient and drop the package in the locker. The recipient will be notified immediately that the package is waiting in your locker and you can go about your business as you please. Privacy and safety Never worry if there is a package for you in the locker, as only you can open the locker or a person that you authorize. To make things even more mundane, you also need to create a user account and submit all kinds of personal information. Why do you need my home address in order to open the locker? And no, there’s no cross-check with the address of the package, they can be completely different. Apart from personal data harvesting, I really see no point. Especially since there are already parcel machines from other courier companies that don’t require any of this stuff. I will do my best to avoid any parcels via the Serbian Post just so I can avoid using this dumb locker system. ### 1/5 — App not working *2025-05-30* First of all, this application shouldnt be needed in the first place. The registration process and onboarding adds unnecessary complexity to a simple task. Most importantly, its not working at all. I wasted 40 minutes walking to the package machine, onboarding to the app, realising that i can't pick up my package, and walking back. Now i have to dial the post office and explain that i cant pick up my package. The code via sms takes 10minutes to arrive. When creating an account in the email field you cannot enter a dot symbol or an @. In the email field!!!!! Privacy policy link does not work. Bluetooth connection to pickup the package does not work. If I could give it zero stars I would. How does this qualify as production ready app I will never know. ### 1/5 — Useless Disaster *2022-11-26* The app says that I should be able to accept a package in behalf of a friend, but that was impossible. So either the app is not working, or the user experience is utterly bad. Beside the main feature not working, other features were not working either. I was searching for city of Nis for example, but the search results weren’t saying anything until I typed as “Niš” instead of “Nis”, UI broken, content cut off in the components… I would’ve given zero if I could’ve. ### 1/5 — No *2021-01-25* I selected a locker option for delivery thinking it would be simpler. The process requires calling or installing an app (from Direct4.me). Direct4.me are not the vendor that sold me the product, they are not even the shipping company. They just handle the boxes. But they still required me to register with all of my information (name, address, phone number...). Now that I give them all of my personal information, I still can’t access my box. Tried calling the number but they answer calls only during work days (8-17:30). I thought this is an automated delivery. But you have to call- but nobody works weekends, or after hours. Anyway, my idea of having an easier pickup completely failed.
