Traditional EQs influence the spectrum of the whole stereo field simultaneously. L/R or Mid-Side-EQs allow you to treat the two channels or the mid and the side signal simultaneously. DirectionalEQ takes this concept one big step further: now you can equalize all directions in the stereo field independently! With five bands, each of them providing state-of-the-art filter types (including 64 bit processing and 2x oversampling) plus the unique ability to specify the direction in which the channel is operational. So you need more bass at 2 o’clock, less midrange at 11 o’clock and a bit more treble from the left? No problem at all, that’s exactly what this EQ has been made for! But bigger screen please! *2018-03-14* This is an amazing AU effects app. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the app’s screen is way to small. I am on an iPad Pro 2 12.9. It is is challenging to get those knobs to move. That said what this thing does is beyond amazing! I am listening thru a pair of Shure SE846’s. I can’t get over what it does the sound stage of each track. It just opens up the sound in a manner that truly makes what your hearing become that more interesting. When the screen is enlarged so I don’t have to use my Apple Pencil to control it. On another note: I have been reading with great excitement about your DDMF Metaplugin 3 which is apparently compatible with Apple's native AU - (AUv3) plugins, and I was wondering if we iPad musicians might get an iPad version of Metaplugin 3. I am particularly interested in it's ability to load other plugins, as well as the stereo side chaining, and also the option to bypass any loaded plugin, it all sounds amazing, and would be a tremendously good fit for the iPad, I truly think this App on iPad would be a GAME-CHANGER for all iPad musicians like myself. I would be eternally grateful if Metaplugin 3 could be converted to iPad, and would be prepared to pay "Big Bucks" for it!!!! I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one! I read about Metaplugin 3 in issue 248 of Computer Music Magazine. Here's hoping Christian that you see sense, and release it on iPad. Pleeeaase?
