## What is Directum Jazz Classic?

Important! Compatibility with iOS 17 and higher is not guaranteed. To work in latest operating system versions, update the NOMAD service and install the new generation of Directum Jazz.
Bring some Jazz to your work! In our app, Directum RX or Directum is always at hand, wherever you are.
Here is what you can do in Directum Jazz Classic:
•	Complete assignments, view notices, and send tasks.
•	Create documents from a file or camera.
•	Read, edit, and sign documents, including standardized ones.
•	Search for documents and send them attached to tasks or emails.
•	View and send databook records.
•	Work in several instances of Directum or Directum RX at the same time.
Directum Jazz Classic can run offline. Create tasks, complete assignments, and edit documents without network connection. Once you are online again, all changes are automatically synchronized. 
The app requires iOS 13-16.

Added a notification with a link for downloading Directum Jazz that supports iOS 17. This notification will appear everyday if the NOMAD service version used in your company is compatible with the new app. By installing it, you can benefit from the new Directum RX features without concerns about the compatibility of Directum Jazz with the latest iOS versions.

### 2.7.1 — 2024-01-30

We’ve prepared for the release of the new generation of Directum Jazz that will support latest iOS versions. That’s why we’ve changed the name and icon of the current app. Now it’s called Directum Jazz Classic.
Also an issue has been fixed. In some cases, when an employee started Jazz, they had to enter their login and password even if they had already logged in to the app earlier. It happened when the NOMAD service was restarted. Now when this occurs, employees do not have to re-enter their credentials.

### 2.7 — 2023-10-19

Please note that Directum Jazz is compatible with iOS versions 13 to 16. Compatibility with iOS 17 is possible but not guaranteed. To support the latest iOS version, we will release the next generation of our mobile app.
Here are new features of Jazz 2.7:
- The app checks if your PIN is secure. If the combination of digits you use to unlock the app is too simple, you’ll see a message. In that case, come up with a more secure PIN.
- You can see flow folders of an employee you substitute. That way it’s much easier to manage tasks and assignments of the absent employee.
- We improved sorting of objects. Now folders in lists are sorted in ascending order of numbers and dates in folders’ names.
- We added a new assignment badge. On your device screen, the app icon now displays the number of new assignments.
