Dirt Devil Clean APP is a robot sweeping control application, which can control your sweeping robot to clean anytime and anywhere; check various status and cleaning completion at any time.
Through the Dirt Devil Clean APP, you can easily unlock the following advanced functions:
[Room Cleaning] You can choose the designated room for cleaning. After selection, only the selected room will be cleaned and the cleaning will be performed in the order of selection.
[Zone cleaning] Select the area you want to clean on the map, and set the cleaning times to achieve key cleaning.
[No-go Zone] Set the forbidden area. After setting, the robot will not enter the forbidden area when cleaning.
[Scheduled cleaning] Schedule cleaning tasks, the robot will start cleaning tasks at the specified time.
[Partition editing] After the robot automatically partitions, edit the partitions manually, which can be merged, divided, and named.

My robot vacuum model EV3420 is the best robot vacuum I’ve ever had. It’s amazing anti-drop sensors don’t let it fall down the stairs and the smart navigation where it goes in straight lines makes it even better. I’ve had other vacuums like the ion VAC, the iHome and those don’t work as good as the daredevil affordable has great suction and filtration system. Best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever had.

This app has many issues. It’s pretty frustrating that my saved schedule is not able to be turned on. The app needs a regular update every now and then not 8+ months from the last one.

The vacuum itself works well.  The app is terrible.  It looks like a kindergartner made it, sentences don’t make sense, incorrect spelling.  I can’t edit my rooms.  The no go zones show up half the time.

Save yourself some time, money, and a metric ton of frustration and buy ANYTHING else than a Dirt Devil robot vacuum.

In fact, buy a broom because it:  
1. You wont spend endless hours trying to get it to connect to your wifi
2. You wont have to lower your home network security (less secure password) in order for their village idiot vacuum to connect to your wifi 
3. A broom will actually get your floors clean
4. You won't have to jump through hoops to return it 

This is the WORST home wifi enabled product we've ever purchased and we have an extensive smart home 

We were so disgusted by this that we have sworn off Dirt Devil completely

The app doesn’t allow you to enter more than 20 characters for the WiFi password, so I’m unable to connect my device to the WiFi or use the app

This is the second time that an app update has completely bricked to the functionality of my robot vacuum. I don’t need this app to do everything. I just need it to control my vacuum. stop updating it with half baked updates. Whoever you pay to work on this app is actively making it worse for the people who use it. Figure it out. I need to vacuum my place soon, so hopefully you will fix it by the end of the week. 
Once you fix it, for the love of God, please stop updating this app.

The robot vacuum is great but the app has non stop problems. It won’t let me edit rooms or even push the start button. It keeps saying my vacuum is offline in the middle of a clean causing it to just spin in circles

When it works, it works well. However, whoever manages this app does not seem to test for anything before pushing to prod. The latest update has essentially bricked the vacuum as it forgets its mapping after about one minute and goes into standby mode. 

It's frustrating to have to nanny the robot so much. Hoping for more stable releases in the future...

Ever since the update my schedules won’t work. Every time I try to view my map the map just closes. My schedules sai there is no rooms available when in face their are. I really would like this to be figured out. There is no easy way in the app to troubleshoot or report an issue. So hopefully someone will see this and do something to rectify the issues.
