I have to force close it and restart every single time I open the app. Additionally, now all the menu and text pop ups are very poorly translated. Makes it pretty useless. I contacted support and they acknowledged something was right in the app and that they were working on it. It’s pretty frustrating that my saved schedule is not able to be turned on. It looks like a kindergartner made it, sentences don’t make sense, incorrect spelling. I can’t edit my rooms. We appreciate your patience as we grow! ### 1/5 — This app and their vacuums are a joke *2026-01-25* Save yourself some time, money, and a metric ton of frustration and buy ANYTHING else than a Dirt Devil robot vacuum. In fact, buy a broom because it: 1. You wont spend endless hours trying to get it to connect to your wifi 2. You wont have to lower your home network security (less secure password) in order for their village idiot vacuum to connect to your wifi 3. A broom will actually get your floors clean 4. I don’t need this app to do everything. I just need it to control my vacuum. stop updating it with half baked updates. Whoever you pay to work on this app is actively making it worse for the people who use it. Figure it out. I need to vacuum my place soon, so hopefully you will fix it by the end of the week. It won’t let me edit rooms or even push the start button. It keeps saying my vacuum is offline in the middle of a clean causing it to just spin in circles ### 1/5 — The new update caused issues *2025-02-13* Ever since the update my schedules won’t work. Every time I try to view my map the map just closes. My schedules sai there is no rooms available when in face their are. I really would like this to be figured out. There is no easy way in the app to troubleshoot or report an issue. It’s amazing anti-drop sensors don’t let it fall down the stairs and the smart navigation where it goes in straight lines makes it even better. I’ve had other vacuums like the ion VAC, the iHome and those don’t work as good as the daredevil affordable has great suction and filtration system. However, whoever manages this app does not seem to test for anything before pushing to prod. The latest update has essentially bricked the vacuum as it forgets its mapping after about one minute and goes into standby mode. It's frustrating to have to nanny the robot so much. Hoping for more stable releases in the future... ### 2/5 — Got for Christmas on Monday (we did Christmas early) *2024-12-26* Worked amazingly for first 2 days and now it keeps changing the maps and trying to force itself under furniture it will not even go under due to sensor at top, and cant find its home base now. Just go ahead and buy the more expensive ones 🤦‍♀️ ### 2/5 — Robot vacuum 3420 *2024-08-08* It worked just as advertised for 3 weeks until one day it just didn’t recognize my vac on the network. I tried everything to reconnect it including removing the original and starting from the start. My network is 2.4 ghz. I can still have it auto clean but have lost all app control. As a result I use it way less because I can no longer create no-go-zones. I’ve emailed multiple times with no response.
