I started an got to tap level 20 and still had zero dirt pretty sure its broken Update: he went and fixed the game it is working perfect now

[Update]: Developer responded and said a broken build got pushed live and they are working on fixing it. Changed to 3 stars for now.

[Original Review]: 1 star. Either it’s broken or I don’t get it. I have tapped approximately 1,000 times and reached level 26 but I have received zero dirt and have zero points to use towards upgrading strength or hiring helpers. Makes no sense.

Hoping I can bring this to the devs attention, if you close the app and come back to it , you lose all progress and the game appears somewhat broken as the terrain is gone and the upgrade menu doesn’t work , please fix this as it has rendered the game completely unplayable

This game is a bare as it gets but that could be a good thing, offline progression is still very profitable against other “idle/clicker” games… could use a few more ui items to engage the player a bit but overall… dirt is dirt the simulation of dirt is dirty so good job the people of the dirt

Downloaded it and it was bugged. Literally the only thing the game was designed for failed. When I tapped no dirt was added so I couldn’t buy any upgrade. Game got slower and slower as I kept digging and wasn’t able to upgrade anything. Pretty serious bug that needs addressing.

Downloaded the game thinking it would be a time killer but the game didn’t work at all. I was tapping the screen thinking you had to dig so far to gain dirt, but after about 3 minutes of tapping and up to level 20 tapping…. I still have zero dirt.

I continuously tap, but I don’t get any dirt - it just stays at 0 dirt and “something dirt per sec.” The only thing that tapping does is increase the tap level bar on the right. I deleted and reinstalled the app, and that still didn’t fix the issue.

Either I’m misunderstanding how the game should be played or the game is broken, both of which are equally bad because it’s either a poor explanation of game mechanics or poor programming.

Until this issue is resolved I’m not going to rate it any more than 1 star.

The game does not work for me. When I first entered the game it does not give me dirt when I tap and when I entered a second time it completely bugged out and did not work

I got to tap level 25 and I still can’t get upgrades, says I have 0 dirt still. I even watched 5 ads and didn’t even gain dirt or a tap level, it’s just not doing anything.

After reading the reviews I was expecting a lot, but skeptical when looking at the screenshots. I am sad to say I played for a bit, and did not enjoy it as much as others. It did not have a positive outcome for my body’s, and it is less dirt simulator and more of a wiggling shovel video.

This game is truly outstanding it is one of the games of all time. I was bawling out tears when I first launched the game, the intro music, the art,the visuals, all outstanding. This game is one of the games that helped the blind see. Help the deaf hear. Helped the world become a better place. As soon as I shove that long shovel into the ground I got a sense of satisfaction as it slowly chips away at the soggy moist dirt. This might be a game but… it’s more of a lesson to learn, people might throw the game away but that just lets you know that the game should never give up and keep trying. Thank you Dirt simulator 2023.

It’s decent if you want to waste some time while waiting and what not but you can very quickly advance and break the game, Currently at 10064% value increase the dirt value the building and all other sorts no longer function.
