I am on the pole many times but during start times during countdown BEFORE green flag waves, there is someone out ahead by 1/2 to 3/4 of a car length. If the developers had ever driven a sprint car, they would know you don’t turn left in the corners. Through the corners, you should be steering right. I have a problem with that. I’ll never do this again. ### 1/5 — 5 stars???? *2019-12-23* I suspect the 5 star reviews come from the neat little “give us 5 stars” pop up in the app and are not a reflection of how people really feel, giving the negative nature of the verbiage in the reviews. Car control in tilt mode is horrible. When sliding, from cockpit view, the steering wheel counter steers without any input from me. I get that throttle control, dependent on where you are on the track, is important to correctly steer as these cars have a ton of rear steer in real life but you should have some control from the steering wheel. If you let off the gas you spin out. No amount of counter steer reduces the spin, even if you get right back on the gas. Makes sense that if you let off the gas this will cause the car to turn left but you should be able to control the degree of left turn with input from the wheel. Steering adjustments - dead zone and sensitivity have no effect, feels like there’s a built in dead zone that you can’t get rid of. Also, just moving my phone left or right without tilting causes the steering to glitch. Nearly impossible to drive in traffic. The bot cars are horrible, cause a lot of spin outs, and make no attempt to avoid stopped cars. There should be yellow flags. I figured out how to remove the drivers name box ahead of you it blocks the view of the track And is very distracting. Right now this game is JUNK. IMO. There are better racing games for free out there. At least with the update the developer is trying to get it right but it’s still frustrating as ever. Full steering assist is way easier than none. Seems like there some traction control in full assist. Whatever. Full assist should be easier, that's the entire point of being able to adjust the assist on the game. ### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Money *2019-12-04, version 1.0.03* The first version of Dirt Tracking is much better. This one has too many glitches while racing which causes you to get in the wall and fall to last place. You can adjust your steering controls all day long but IT DOES NOT HELP! Only 8 tracks and a handful of driver isle SLM, most of whom I’ve never heard of. Car customization is the same...not much there. If I could get a refund I would. Edit: I’ve continuously tried playing this game and nothing has gotten better. I’ve tried all controls...tilt, arrows, wheel...no avail. Also tried adjusting controls as the event goes on but it’s still horrible. ### 1/5 — NOT IMPRESSED! HORRIBLE! *2019-11-26, version 1.0.02* I was raised in and around Dirt Track Racing in Southern Missouri and this game is nothing like how the cars handle, you can't even control the darn cars! Yes I know they are supposed to slide but there is no control to the slide or grip or throttle control. It's literally like driving on ice and the steering is horrible too, y'all had a better game with the original dirt trackin' but I have bought the original, Sprint cars and this one and I have to say the Sprint cars were horrible too! This might be the last time I buy one of your games. No money, just fun. On the other hand, there are a few minor things that bug me. The car customization. To me really liking to put in different colors and bases, it’s kind of bland. I know that it’s not a complicated game but I feel like that could be improved. The ai in the single player races. I know it’s ai but when you make contact with them in pretty much any car you spin. That gets annoying. Other than that it’s a GREAT game.
