Also when you complete a chapter for the first time you earn gems which I thought was a useful feature. However, To get the happy ending you need to max out a character’s affection, hence the need to grind for gems. Some options cost more some less but to play the game at its best you will need a large number of gems As for story, it was well written. The characters do develop and it hooks you really easily. And if you do like a little spicy content, you do actually get some without needing to grind, just the options payed with gems are more satisfying. Take note that once you reach an ending your affection is completely reset. I think the main issue I had was actually the grinding. The options are watch an ad every 15 minutes for 5, daily log ins, finishing an episode, unlocking every star (the branching chapters) in each chapter, rewards from unlocking notes and images, the gem offers section which uses tap joy - I find this way confusing and problematic as it usually requires opening another app or link, or if you have enough character crystals you can purchase some in shop (this however is a separate grind). Even with the large number of ways, the amount of gems rewarded is usually small, so have patience if you are trying to save a large amount. Overall though, because it’s a free game the grinding component is a necessity, the developers need income and that comes through purchasing those booster items such as gems with real world currency. Ignoring the grinding component, the quality of the art is quite appealing to me. I can see the effort put into the game, each character clearly has their own unique story which you slowly learn about as you progress. There’s enough plot that it doesn’t feel like the whole game is just pick a guy and romance him. Also it’s nice to have the romances between two male characters as the genre for most of these games typically depicts a straight relationship. So I can easily say the developers did well in creating something addictive and fun and are deserving of more players, please make more similar to this. Anyway, I finished my first full run of the game in 4 days and now I’m inspired to make my own game in this genre so….
