In any case, we will get it sorted out. ### 5/5 — Organization for those that need it. *2025-10-23* I usually would grab a bunch of discs and go play. Now as I get better, I have a way to keep track of my discs and how they fly. Setting bags up is easy and having a picture of each disc in a bag is very helpful. I had a few issues where something wasn’t working right or I had an idea that would help the app. The developer has a report bug/feedback built into the app. I decided to do it but never figured I’d get an email response back within an hour asking for further information. I’ve never reported an issue or suggested something and actually gotten a response before. Room for improvement though- Have enjoyed this app, I have it on both iPhone and tablet but because there is no login the app doesn’t “talk” to each other. If you delete the app or if it crashes then you have to start all over. I would also like to see left hand/right hand being an option for the phone to remember, it defaults right hand throwing. I would also like to have option like, if I want to throw over hand or throw a roller could the app tell me which disk to use that’s already in my bag, like a personal caddy. Thanks again for the review and feedback. ### 5/5 — Excellent for keeping track of over 50 discs *2025-06-08, version 1.0.52* I love this app! It helps me keep track of my numerous discs. All of the features are great! It works perfectly on my older iPhone. I love being able to take photos of my discs for the catalogue! If I were to make any suggestions, they would be to add a duplication feature, and to allow photos from my photo library. Maybe there is some way to add a circular template to the app photo process so that it is easier to Center the photos properly. It would be cool to be able to see a larger version of the photo as well. Consider those requests - the app is great as it is, regardless. Frustrating. Deleted it. ### 3/5 — Wonderful idea, sketchy implementation. *2025-06-28* Bag builder Gap Report accuracy seems buggy and isn’t showing a disc, or says there are multiple when there are not multiple in that slot. Tried to fix, made it worse. Overlap on ROC and Toro and they are obviously different. Keep working on it! Taking pictures? How to size and frame? Seems like images can rotate random and no method to size/rotate edit. Weird. Custom photos look really cool in “examples”. **Developer response:** This review feels unnecessarily harsh. You're not using the latest version, which includes a photo option that automatically aligns the disc. If you had submitted feedback instead of a review, I would have been happy to share the development roadmap for upcoming features. As a solo developer, I'm committed to providing excellent service and continuously improving the app. Please update to the latest version and consider revisiting your rating. ### 4/5 — Subscription deal breaker *2026-05-21* I’d be interested in subscribing if you provided user data. For example what people are bagging (add if they BH or FH the disc) and their rating of the disc (with plastic type). I think helping people find popular discs is valuable due to not wasting money on discs they might not throw. **Developer response:** Thanks for the review and suggestions. I would like to see better implementation of the camera and improved use! My photos are auto rotating and it’s making it nearly impossible for me to really “inventory” all the discs I use. It sounds like you are trying to import photos from Android. Disc Finder supports cross-platform inventory management. Please update to the latest version and create a new export file, then import it on the other platform. My only gripe is that it seems unstable and constantly crashes (force closes) in my iPhone 16 ProMax. For example, I’m adding discs to my bag, if I save a disc then try to add the next one to fast, crash. If I move a disc from a bag to another, crash. There are new specific improvements to ensure stability on iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro Max devices. ### 4/5 — Promising App! *2024-11-04* This app is just what I was looking for to track my disc inventory. Super convenient being able to pull up a list of discs in an app on my phone vs trying to view the spreadsheets I have been using. The are a few bugs to work out and maybe a few features to add to make this a true 5-star app. Suggested Improvements: - Smooth out scrolling through list of discs in Bag Builder. Scrolling seems to stick/lock up randomly, when filtering/sorting, or when changing views. - Make sorting in the Bag Builder view semi-persistent when switching between there and the Gap Report. Switching pages/views always resets my Bag Builder to default “Name” sorting. - In the Gap Report where there are multiple discs for a square, maybe add a pop-up that can show what discs are in that square. **Developer response:** UPDATE: The app has received major improvements since this review was written on November 4, 2024. If I had one suggestion it would be when in grid view it would be great if I could click on the open squares and it would show me all disc options that would fill that slot. I have open slots in my bag and I find it rather difficult to search for disc to fill those. Disc Finder is a great companion app to the sport. It is one of the first apps I downloaded when I started playing and have continued to use it over a year. Helps to visually organize the discs you have which then helps me to pick a disc for the right throw. This app has been amazing since it lets me compare flights of each of my discs. If I’m trying to figure out how to shape a shot, I’ll pull out the app and compare a couple of discs to find the best option. I would 100% recommend this app!
