## What is Disc Golf 2D?

Disc Golf 2D is a 2D disc golf game built around fun, competitiveness, and hitting chains.

There are four ways to play, depending on how you prefer:

Course Mode lets you play through up to 5 full courses, all with different themes, and obstacles.

Story Mode features 15 levels where you can unlock new courses and go up against real-time CPU opponents, adding pressure and strategy to the round.

Challenge Mode is where things get competitive. Play online, post your score, and try to finish at the top of the daily and weekly leaderboards to earn Birdie Coins.

Practice Mode is there when you just want to work on your throws, test discs, or mess around without pressure.

As you play, you’ll unlock a ton of content:

100+ discs, each with different flight behavior

50+ outfit items to customize your character

Birdie Coins earned by playing rounds and competing.

The game is easy to pick up, but there’s a lot to master. Shot angles, power, disc choice, and wind all matter. Whether you’re trying to ace a hole, unlock new gear, or beat your best score online, Disc Golf 2D is built for quick sessions and long-term progression.

### 2/5 — The pendulum swings yet again

*2026-04-27*

New update takes many already difficult course layouts and makes them diabolical and downright unkind. If you want people to enjoy this game, I don’t think this is how it’s done.

**Developer response:** Skill issue

### 1/5 — Fix your game

*2026-04-13*

When going against the AI it doesnt count the bits strokes fully. Watched a bot throw the disc SEVEN times 2 of which where OB, which should have been a +6 that hole but the bot only got THREE throws accounted for after it had made all of its throws.

**Developer response:** skill issue

### 5/5 — Big improvement

*2026-02-20*

Fun and challenging game, significant improvement on the controls and gameplay. The update helped A LOT!

### 2/5 — Very, very hard

*2026-02-20*

Good idea, but too hard to be fun. I never got past the “easy” course without shooting +10 or more. The shooting meter is just insane on anything other than a putter. Then, when you hit the basket and expect to “tap in,” no. The disc flies like, 2 inches, and you have to shoot again and go 100% power or you’ll miss. Not for me.

### 4/5 — Close

*2026-02-17*

Pecan Valley level 2 needs work. You can’t have a tunnel shot blocked by a 2 foot branch gap. And if you land on the branch by going over instead, it’s “OB”. Right now that’s my big thing. And I can’t stand trying to change my discs or direction without accidentally triggering the throwing mechanic and losing a stroke. Please. I want to like this game so bad lol.

### 1/5 — Clunky, arbitrary, not fun

*2026-02-17*

Wanted to like this game. Seems to have tons of potential to be fun. But execution is disappointing, disastrous, and downright aggravating. Every gameplay mechanic is arbitrary at best. No accurate power scaling, aiming system difficult to use effectively, no benefit to using different class of discs, hazards cannot be tracked or accurately adjusted for due to limited visuals. Hopefully there are major adjustments, otherwise not worth the time.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. A lot of what you described directly influenced our latest update. We’ve just released a major rework of the throwing mechanics with a new power-scaling system and clearer, more useful disc classes. Our aim was to make aiming more intuitive and choices more meaningful. If you give it another shot, we’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts on the changes.

### 5/5 — Great Retro Style Gameplay

*2026-02-15*

This game reminds of my favorite games in the 80s. Replay ability is high and collecting discs is so much fun. Competing for my own best score and trying to beat my friends makes this app a true keeper.

### 5/5 — Overall great game

*2026-02-14*

As I am in relation to the developer of this game, I feel I'm obligated to leave my thoughts. I think Disc Golf 2D is a charming game of skill and precision, offering a fun challenge, many customizations, and several ways to play. Discrepancies in certain visual designs (pixel brush sizes being inconsistent and gameplay bugs (competitors in story mode sometimes shooting from inside objects, most prevalent with the house in the backyard) don't affect the fun significantly. This is a game I can repeatedly come back to and never get bored of.

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2026-02-12*

Challenging and fun!

### 5/5 — Fun and challenging

*2026-02-12*

This game brings real disc golf to my phone, nothing like collapsing and getting a +11
